Have no idea how Rizwan scores so many runs in domestic cricket.

He is absolutely atrocious.
 
Let me guess, Rizwan got out/ stumped by trying to play a crazy/ funky shot
 
Babar or Bust. Infact we are in such a situation that even if Babar makes 100 off 17 balls, the rest will let us down and TV experts will call Babar selfish.

Rizwan's lack of strokemaking and boundary hitting ability won't disappear by moving him up to open.
 
Think Umar Akmal is set for another comeback in T20s. He was nervous against his home Lahori crowd.

Its not only about experience its about personal liking. He doesn't give a damn of fans or performances. Since he is in dual role even whitewash against Bangladesh will not make any difference to his coaching career.
 
If Asif plays like he played against Zimbabwe, we can get 160+.

3 balls Cummins bowled at him at the start of his inning were on middle/leg stump, but Rizwan was shuffling into the legside and just tapping it. If he just went back and across he could have easily gottena single, double or boundary on all 3 balls.
 
PCB were just waiting to see if Babar could maintain his performance with the added pressure of captaincy.

He has passed the test and he will be announced as ODI captain after this nightmare tour ends.

Don't think we can judge his abilities from here, he's a much better player imo, it's just that he's ridiculously fidgety when he's expected to score at a 130 SR. Let's see how he does in Tests.

Exactly Misbah just rested them for Australia series.He may drop Fakhar and Haris and replace them with Shehzad and Umar.
 
Mohammad Rziwan for some reason has looked uncomfortable/ not in full control when playing his shots. He also keeps on trying to do these funky and useless shots which end up being costly. Even in the last tour of Australia (during the ODI series) he was playing all kinds of weird shots.
 
Time to bump the Asif can be our Buttler thread for the umpteenth time.

Gotta feel really sorry for him though. Cursed with terrible selections and bad coach.

The fact he can perform in this mess of a team just shows how mentally strong he is.

True. I really worry for the new crop of fast bowlers. The likes and Naseem, Musa, Hasnain, Shaheen simply can't be starting under a worse coaching set up. I really wish Mickey was retained. He had his flaws, but at least he was doing a good job of grooming youngsters.
 
Can't clear boundaries. We should look and groom batsman and not target the T20WC. Because we'll do bad in Australia. PCB should look beyond that. Otherwise our Cricket will continue to go down

This is how he plays and it’s good enough for UAE and not much else

Australia should just front up Babar 60 odd runs every game and let him rest in the pav. Poor fella is probably getting acid reflux having to bat alongside and captain these heroes.

Good to see Babar imposing himself on the players. They deserve his criticism.
 
This Asif guy doesn't even have muscle power like Imad or even Babar.
 
The batting lineup is doing what this batting lineup is expected to do. They are all playing to their potential. Nothing to get disappointed about. They were never expected to succeed in these Australian conditions where boundaries are extremely hard to hit for our batsmen.
 
I wonder what Misbah the batting coach tells these bats about their batting.... same mistakes same shots , not attempt to change
 
Man look at this agar he’s chewing bubble gum and walking like a gangster like he’s the biggest deal I wish if any other quality opposition was to play him he would go with figures like 0-50

I'm honestly expecting all four of them to disappear in a couple of years, what a sad era for Pakistan cricket. We're going back to the dark ages.
