btw, during the course of this innings Yousuf has gone past Mohsin Khan, Inzi and Mudassar Nazar for most runs scored against Australia in Australia by a Pakistani batsman.
 
Ponting beginning to panic, field is spread out now and singles are there for the taking.
 
And Faisal throws it away with a slash over the infield and goes to Watson, who takes a great catch.

Dont worry guys this pair did the job. We just need 35 runs per wicket partnership to take the game away from Aussies.
 
The MCG faisal was not there at SCG. It will be safe to say that his average won't cross the thirty run threshold in the foreseeable future.

our fielders were not bad either. In fact Aussies have dropped more catches and goofed up a lot today

need at least a hundred runs more, but with a new ball just around the corner things can get tough

Bhanja need an immidiate axe from the team. what a waste of time. Now we know exactly why he is averging 27 runs in test cricket for the last 10 years.
 
I'm seeing Pakistan's top order on TV in Tests after a long time, so they are new to me in that sense. I must say that they look dodgy, despite the 71 from Butt and a 53 from Farhat and the couple of nice shots Faisal has played. On the basis of this one innings, they looked like they could get out anytime (

Except MoYo, whom I seen before (of course) and who (of course) looks class as usual.
 
1st of all great batting by PAKISTAN 190-2 at tea is a very good score, sad to see both of the openers couldnt get to their 100 and MOYO looking very nice, inshallah a 100 here will be great and jsut saw the wicket of Faisal. that was very stupid of him, there was no need to play this kinda silly shot. waste his wicket and handed a gift to aus. we know how pakistan can be from 190-2 they could very well be all out for 220-230 thats no surprise, but i hope not and inshallah if we manage to make anything +350 so we are in great position of winning this match. i would love if our team makes 400. Hope umer akmal hold his horses and plays a sensible knock
