That was some seriously good death bowling, loved those slower short balls by Sandhu, Cummins and Faulkner. Starc was pretty clutch with his 6 wickets. At one point India were looking set for 310 + and they would really be disappointed

We have an extremely poor tail in these conditions ...puts a lot of pressure on middle order .

Decent score by India.

According to PP-ers there are 2 kinds of pitches

1.Green pitches(fast and bouncy)
2.Flat Pitches(slow and not enough bounce)

In these conditions Binny is a much better hitter .

And where are these proper finishers u talk about ? Its not easy to find batsmen who can play well down the order and his bowling is pretty underrated as well .

Uses crease very well. More smart than gifted.

Ash & bk are useless when you need to score fast.

Seriously should have sent in shami instead of ash. He is a better slogger.

I feel Indian posters here are feeling that the tail is too long because Ravindra Jadeja is missing, he seems to be the perfect guy to be batting for India at #7

That's true, Jadeja should be a regular in World Cup, Axar being a backup.

I am getting very convinced about the fact that Bhuvi won't be a threat in Australia.

Well Australian conditions demand more physical & mental abilities than raw skills. That's why guys like Harbhajan Singh / Anil Kumble did well as compared to Ashwin. Whereas Ashwin can use the Indian Slow conditions to full effect through his skills.

Another thing if you observe Indians cannot throw (or at least not used to) from these long boundaries. Keeper/Bowler is not near the stumps to collect the balls, they rather move few yards away from stumps nearer to fielder to make it easy.

India has tough time in Australia and this World Cup. To compete in Australia you need full-fledged team in all departments (like Srinath/Zaheer in their prime, fighters like Harbhajan/Kumble, real destroyers like Sehwag, sheer talents like Ganguly/Dravid, legends like Sachin, etc. You cannot compete with forced inclusions like Akshar patel, Yadav in the playing 11. You need a full team)

lol Indian bowlers starting off where they left off in test... I just dont get why Aaron is not getting picked ? There is ZILCH difference between him and a trundler like Shami performance wise only Aaron will atleast rough up the batsmen....

Short and down leg with two slips?

To the agricultural lumberjack?

Getting better Shami. Very good pace, shows how he holds it back in Test matches.

India 267/8

Australia 34/0 (6 ov)
Australia require another 234 runs with 10 wickets and 44 overs remaining

But suddenly this Australian team looks completely out of sorts playing in India :))

Painful fact.

You may be very right.

Warner gone

Yadav to Warner, OUT, skies it! And Raina yells in delight after completing a soft dismissal
DA Warner c Raina b Yadav 24 (22b 3x4 0x6) SR: 109.09

This Finch hate needs to stop. He's the next Matthew Hayden and will be Australis' best bat the at the World Cup.

Finchman realizing that he needs to play the anchor role here. He has brains and brawn.

Its going exactly like someone said, the best Indian bowler is going to be the one playing for Australia.

India 267/8

Australia 56/1 (10 ov)

Australia require another 212 runs with 9 wickets and 40 overs remaining
