I've watched a lot of Australia matches in their most successful era of 00s and I've observed:
1) Get McGrath to bowl that nagging line and length.
2) Brett Lee will open the bowling and bowl quick full onto the stumps, outside the stumps and try to draw the batsman to drive so they are caught by the keeper, slips, covers.
3) Gillespie/Bichal will be the 3rd bowler and they will bowl length/back of a length with mid off up.
4) if they need wickets they may bring a part time bowler like Clarke, hussey, symonds and try to make the batsman hit.
5) if they desperately need wickets bring on lee and bowl a length outside off to make the batsman drive and they will be caught at point.
You can add more on.
