Iqbal,Chak De,Paan Singh Tomar -bollywood movie on sports as such which are pretty good. Emraan Hashmi can make even lord of war look bad in bollywood.

I don't know if many of posters here have watched the movie but actually the film reflects on the dressing room culture on how players who go to lengthy tours without their family and how they fell into the trap of stardom,which opens the door for corruption in cricket.That's why I think players should be allowed to take their families on these lengthy tours in order to prevent them from this trap

Overall it started off well but the ending was weak. I think they did as well as they could with his real life. Better idea would've been to base the character on Azhar but make up a new more exciting story where like for e.g. the guy is captain India against a stronger PakIstan or Australia in the 1999 world cup final or smth and the news breaks out and puts pressure on Azhar to win the game.

In addition to Pakistan's or Australia's cheating and bullying like shoving or tripping indian batsmen when they take singles (to keep Indian modi fans satisfied and add masala).

Azharuddin is a fascinating character. He fits the bill for a classic anti-hero. I have not seen the movie but if anything this is the kind of movie that if done right can make Bollywood a respectable name around the world.

When I saw that it was a film about Azharuddin's life, I thought this might be interesting.

However, what I encountered was a farce. In fact one of the matches they mentioned between India and Pakistan did not even happen.
