How is he tuk tuk when he has the lowest do ball percentage? Just bc he can't hit doesn't he mean he is tuk tuk. I suggest you stop watching cricket.not your cup of tea.He is tuk tuk... He takes too long to get started... People being consistently proven wrong.
Pandey ahead of Kohli and people want him kicked out of the team.
Mahela is a different player. He preferred spin while Babar prefers pace. And he also was more unconventional in his shot selection. He needs to have Mahela Jayawardene as an example. They are similar as they are touch players but Mahela built up his power game, especially hitting down the ground

Pandey scores singles from 15th-20th over. Just shows how misleading that stat is.
Just shows how overrated this rotating strike is if a player cannot hit big when needed.
Guys like Warner, Maxwell, Rohit might play dot balls, but they cover those dot balls quickly by hitting big at will.
No one will pick Manish Pandey over someone like Rohit just because Pandey takes singles![]()
This is just part of the equation. Dot ball percentage, runs scored, match awareness and Strike rate should be considered together.
Some like Like Manish Pandey scores few runs typically at run a ball. He fails in the SR and the runs scored category but is good in the dot ball percentage. He is average in match awareness
Babar scores runs, playes less dot balls but takes a lot of balls initially when he gets to 50 runs. In a 120 ball game, he consumes typically 35 to 40 balls. This is irrespective of match situation. He can accelerate at the end but it's usually too late. He lacks power hitting as well because of which his SR lags the required rate. He needs match awareness
Kohli starts slow as well but can make up depending on the match. He plays very few dot balls too but also has a power game and supreme fitness to run 2's at will. His match awareness and chasing ability under pressure is next to none.
35 ball 50 is very good. Kohli sr is around 130 in t20s and in pakpassion people talk like his sr is 200
Again making the error of looking just at the SR. IF the RR is 12 rpo, Kohli will score accordingly. If it is 8 rpo, he won't be smoking the balls for sixers to improve his SR. It's called match awareness

Just goes to show how good he can be if he improves his power game
You are right but Kohli cant chase 12 an over for more than 3-4 overs. He simply has not got the hitting ability like KP,Gayle or AB
Would like to see him do this while chasing a total... before comparing him to someone like Kohli
Scored a half century in a run chase today![]()

Lot of Babar Azam stats are missleading, his stats goes to huge dip when playing against top sides aka AUS/ENG/SA/NZ/IND, we play so little against them... That's why Kohli is so good, because his stats hold against top sides pretty much equally... Babar has to be analyzed in context of top side. We play so much against the Laloo teams that it blind side fans and selectors equally...
Babar's T20 strike rate is 127 and he achieves that without taking risks at all which makes me wonder that if he plays with the mentality of T20s in ODIs his average might go down a bit but he can easily maintain strike rate of 100 or even 110.
Further proof Pakistanis are incapable of judging batsmen.
Fair enough thinking, but brother this game of cricket is all about probabilities and chances. For Babar to maintain that 127 SR he adds slightly more risk taking shots to his game against the balls he might have defended in ODIs.
It just a fine line which we have seen from Kohli as well where he adds just a little bit more shots for T20s which he wouldnt have been playing in ODIs in the first 20, 30 overs.

He has to do it against a bowling attack of Marshall, Ambrose, Holding, and Garner on the moon.
Babar will never be as good as Kohli Root etc he is developing fine in 2 out of 3 formats hopefully will translate results in tests aswell. Pakistan batman usually mature late I expect him be consistent in all three formats between 28-35
Who asked you how good baber can be?
And on what base did you said this?
