Javed Miandad very happy with Babar:

He's a better Test captain than LOI captain IMO. His captaincy has improved with time. Back in 2019 he looked very loose.

I didn't like his captaincy in the 1st WI test in the last hour and half where we basically let Roach and co score 50 runs while we should have sealed the match there.

Against Aus test it was also a bit lacking especially for the final test where our batting basically ended at no.6

In this test, I think he made a daring call to play 3 seamers and 3 spinners although it didn't prove to be a correct call especially regarding Agha and 3 pacers.

Hopefully he'll continue to improve. Let's see if he is bold enough to drop Azhar.

Javed can be emotional at times but if Babar keeps on leading his team to success without effecting his form - then why not?

The legend Miandad getting a bit too excited I think.

Babar's not the greatest of captains but he's doing an adequate job. However there is nothing to suggest he should be skipper until he retires.

Agree 100% though about Babar leading from the front and being a great example for his team-mates.
