Babar Azam's problem with power hitting

Babar is a failer as an opener, he is too stubborn to realise this and will not go 1 down where he is suited.
Rizwan is better he can hit the shots and rotate but babar slows him down.
Rizwan needs a attacking and aggressive opener and today this stubborness has cost Pak another chance at a trophy.

Its been 3 tournaments now where Pak just fail to utilize the pp overs and today the difference was 20 runs on what could have been a Pak win... a total of 137 vs a total of 151. Massive difference that could make...

He should either go 1 down or give up his captaincy because in both there is nothing special there...

I have been saying this for 2-3 years. We have created a huge mess for ourselves by allowing this guy too spread his web. Any new coach/selector will not drop him right away, and Rizwan is smart enough to score pointless runs to make himself look like a ‘performer’.

This is why we need a ruthless and blunt coach like Ponting or maybe Langer who isn’t going to be fooled.

Aqib Javed will end him as well if he gets the chance to do it too.

I must admit that you were right all along. Most of us bought into the Rizwan hype because he was scoring runs that we overlooked his obvious technical deficiencies as a batsman. But the opposing teams have him figured out.
