Fakhar Zaman. He's played more international cricket than the other 2 and England in England isn't an easy prospect.

I voted for Zaman too which I can't change but I've actually changed my mind after seeing what other posters had to say. If he did play, it would be in the middle order and as other posters said, we already have enough attacking players in the form of Sarfaraz, Faheem and Shadab. So now I think Salahuddin should replace Azam. The only benefit Fakhar Zaman brings is he could bowl but I don't think he would anyway as Haris Sohail wasn't used in the 1st Test either. Also, it may affect Zaman's white ball game playing tests. Salahuddin done well in the warm-up game so I think it should be Babar Azam out and Usman Salahudin in.

I'd play Usman. There's a better chance he can go on to put up a bigger score. Fakhar will score faster but its a test match. That shouldn't really even be a factor.

Usman has a pretty impressive track record in FC as well.

If Mickey really wants to play Fakhar, then I'd suggest replacing him with Imam.

Fakhar should replace Babar. He is the kind of batsman who can change the course of a match within a space of few overs. We need someone like him who can play his shots irrespective of the match situation. We need to change this defensive mindset and play more attacking cricket.

If we play Fakhar and bat first, things could go haywire.

If we play Salahuddin and bat first, I would feel more comfortable.

That being said, if we bat second, I would love to see Fakhar coming down the track and swinging part-timer Root into the leg-side.

Azhar Ali going to 3 is a good move however Fakhar Zaman will play if that approach is taken. Not Sami Aslam. Sami has little to no success in the side Matches.

Usman Salahuddin was selected for the 2011 tour of WI but did not play a single game. It is now 2018, it is criminal for him not to get a chance now.

As much as I like Fakhar Zaman I think his arrival in the test arena can wait. The reason being we all know he is a quality bat. However I am curious to find out how good the kids Usman Salahuddin and Saad Ali are. Hence I would like to give either of them a start before Fakhar.

In worst case we could always select Fakhar but I am eager to try out new youngster and see what they are all about.
