I do. Last time they started match on Monday, now I 'll watch at least 3 full day.

It's wet at Dhaka now, I don't think we ll get 450 overs - whoever wins, it has to be inside 350 overs max.

Last team was extreme reverse - we are still not ready enough to play 5+1 bowlers. Need to drop one of the spinners & play Soumya.

Need to bat first also - only way we ca make SAF panic a bit is putting a good total on Day 1-2 on a crumbling wicket; might loss by innings if it back fires, but that's only chance.

not sure why we should field a batsman who averages 28 in FC cricket with a single century, based on his ODI form where he plays an aggressive roll. Hasn't had any success in any of the test matches he has played either.

3 reasons - he is in great touch; sometimes young players need only one innings to change fortune. Absolutely no comparison but, Lara had an ODI average of almost 50 & a Test average of mid 30s, in first 3 years of career - then his first one was 277 at SCG

2. There are not much option unless they want to debut someone

3. He bowls a bit seem up. Can give 7-8 overs with the new ba as 1st change.

I understand he is in great form, but tests are a whole different setup.

And those 7-8 overs he can give is fine but i don't think it will bother the opposition much. SA are a professional side and won't give their wickets to part timers, like how we did in the first test/

Minnows prepared a flat track

Hope it backfires on them and the superior South Africans crush them!

So Bangladesh puts up 160-3 and people watching the scorecards claim that its a flat track.

Did you even see the amount of swing Steyn was getting? Also, a bit of turn available for the spinners, good bounce too.

Meh, ignore him. He's clearly trolling.

i think we can conclude that for sure at one point.

Going back to the match, I think it was not really the best cricket played from both sides. SA made some blemishes, bowled some freebies on the leg side.

As for BD, the scorecard shows 166-3 but we had a good amount of luck running our away like ball turning too much to miss the stumps, or the ball just kissing the off stump. On normal days we would have been 200-5

What's wrong with South African over-hyped fast bowling? Can't even take 5 wickets of Bangladesh (Who don't have Bradman, Tendulqar or Sangakara) in 2 sessions of fast days play (Pitch generally assist first 1-2 hours in the first days play). Apart from Steyn both Philander and Morkel are rubbish. Even Shahid looks better bowler than those 2s.

Finally a wicket for Steyn!!! Both Morkel and Philander are green track bully

trolls are running everywhere.

As for the match, steyn looking vicious. Swinging the ball quite a bit. These 2 need to bat till the new ball is available

Apart from Steyn, the bowlers have been average.

Philander bowled, Morkel bowled Rubelisque, Duminy wrecked Havoc

Shakib and Mushfiq is arguably one of the most dynamic batting partners.

L/R combination
Both have different gears
2 of our better batsman
Seriously quick between the wickets.

Not too many BD batsman i have seen who compliments one another this way.

South Africa have been good. The captaincy has been proactive, the bowlers have bowled in the right areas but Bangladesh have held on.

Good game this but it is overshadowed by the Ashes test.

50/50 decision. But not enough evidence to overrule on field call. Mushfiqur slightly unlucky.

SA need to bring on Steyn now to clean up the tail.

Morkel bowled rubelesque? :)))

Hmmm. Turn and bounce on day 1 itself. SA should clean up the tail right now and just bat as long as they can. They won't survive on a crumbling pitch if they bat last.

no denying its a dust bowl, and SA spinners are bowling well but getting out to them in this fashion is not on, oh no it ain't

Terrible decision not to take new ball. A defensive approach by Amla

Have to agree, I kind of worried. We'll see how it goes though.

well we can consider ourselves lucky that we managed some quick runs on the first 2 sessions but its a lot more difficult in the next few innings. If Bangladesh scores 300 then it will be a tight match and 350 will make things difficult for SA.

The pitch certainly had assistance to pace bowlers and suddenly turning square.

Amla (Not fit for no.1 test team) is more defensive than Misbah. AB should replace him as a captain.

Both team make mistake for SA, Tahir should play for BD, Taijul should play.

South Africa really need at least a quality spinner for sub-continent.

Two days rained out. SA will lose 5 ranking points and Bangladesh will gain 6 points if the series is 0-0. #Bangladraw

Why did we ever agree to play these guys during the monsoon season?

Bangladesh will gain ranking points after drawn series with top sides? Stats/Numbers are blind of weather/conditions.

Why did we ever agree to play these guys during the monsoon season?

worse than that there should be some mechanism whereby the higher ranked team does not lose ranking points if the match time is lost to nature. Its ridiculous that Ban will gain so many points in this series despite never being on top apart from first day and half of series

I think Congratulation is in order to all Bangladeshi friends here. They can now draw the series against No. 1 Test team.

Play has been called off for third consecutive day. So at the end of day four Bangladesh are still 246/8 in their first Innings.

Lol. He's one of the most attacking captains playing the game. Just because you don't understand his decisions don't make them defensive.

Reverse swing > Conventional swing.

Anyway, another drawn series for Bangladesh.

And Bangladesh wonders why nobody wants to tour there. Because they schedule series during the rainy season so they can knick points with easy draws.
