Do you really think this batting can post 400 + even 300 is hard for them.
there hasn't been a 300+ after Misbah becming the Captain.
 
Pathetic that they need to 'dinner' break when the whole match will only be 4.5 hours long

it's clear, Ahmed Shehzad needs to return for LOIs against England...the lad has the ability to score 100s and is a great fielder as well...enough of :farhat please!!!
 
We are pathetic in chasing! Idk whats gonna happen if we have to chase 250+ against England in the upcoming tour! Farhat needs to go! Im always livid when hes playing! Cant stand him a bit...

Don't understand this break at all. Why not just have a longer interval, regardless of how short the first innings was? It's a major disadvantage for the team batting 2nd.

Remember the U19 World Cup Final? I'm sure the small number of overs to bat was one of the reasons India were 9/6 (as well as Anwar Ali's swing obviously).

Misbah and Akmal should finish this up! No need to be extra aggresive! I just want us to win this match by 6 wickets now! It should been won by 10 to 8 wickets but... No no no...... Pakistan is the most exciting team in the world! -_-

Need an aggressive opener BADLY. The two guys we have on top cant take singles and wont take the attack to the opposition. It was painful watching them play dots chasing a ****ing double digit total.

This is the most idiotic thing to ever happen in ODI history! Why don't you have a lunch break when there is an interval... Why one team needs to come outside for like 15-20 overs and then go back inside for a lunch! I bet Misbah and Umer wont even be thinking about having lunch right now!

Shehzad was unfairly dropped, he did nothing wrong that our other openers/players have done.

He had it all, ok he was young but they needed to persist with him, he wasn't doing that bad, he has 2 centuries to his name! Still he was dropped and forgotten about.

Him and Hafeez would be comfortable opening with each other bcoz both are aggressive openers. Well any1 is better than Farhat!!!

But yeh we need someone like Shehzad to open with Hafeez who is doing very well. Deffo need this combo against England.

yup...the selection of Farhat is shambolic...Shehzad definitely needs to return...also has 3 40+ scores besides 2 100s...supreme talent, needs to be nurtured...

nah let the guy spent another good year or two in domestic circuit.
Asad should open with Professor.
For some reason :shehzad looks like trouble maker, he needs to sort out his priorities and attitude first
 
This tukk tukk mentality is not good for Pakistan at all. When you bowl out a team for 91 you should start attacking from ball one and get this over within 15 overs! That's how India, Australia and NZ would have done!
Players like Sehwag, Watson and McCullum love these situations!

And what are Paksitan doing, tuking and getting out as expected.

Pakistan really needs a long term batting coach who can develop the culture of 1s n 2s in our batsmen along with good running b/w the wickets...until we do this, we'll remain mediocre in batting...
 
Farhat is only in the team because he's a left-hander, which compliments Hafeez. I wonder if they'll give Sharjeel or Shafiq a chance.
 
Shehzad will be good for Pakistan InshaAllah(if he's selected).

Taking singles and twos always take the pressure off the batting teams yet we're so bad at them that if we don't get the singles we struggle.

A fair number of those vs minnows as well.

Farhat's actually done decent lately believe it or not, and he did do well in domestic one day tourney as well.
Yes I still kind of hate him, but people are way too mean to him.

have fun now will see in 2 months because you will have to wake up every 3 hours to make him drinks milk, until he is 5 months :)))

i got a chance my wife use to wake up so i could sleep well and be fresh for work :)))

Shehzad has 2 100s in 19 ODIs and the potential to be a prolific scorer, he needs to be in the team...WC was a blemish but really unfair to drop him...Farhat is not only a horrible batsman, he's an equally pathetic fielder as well...Shehzad meanwhile is a great fielder as well...
 
Shehzad is a idiot. His arrogance isn't the only problem, he had a poor WC too.

true but with the new Ball rule around 250 seems sufficient score, unnecessary stroke players and sloggers might make it difficult.
If we get patient and steady 250 per match our bowling Masahallah is good enough to defend the total.

we need to play the best XI and Shehzad fits better...till YK is around Asad will be warming the bench...though I think Asad should be playing instead of YK in ODIs...

Am usually up late at nights coz well am used to it been doing it for over 10 years so thats not a problem, yeh he has been troubling us 2-3 times in the middle of the night but I guess thats the experience and challenge, am off work right now but may get difficult when I return to work after leave. It jus shows what our own parents went thru and how we kept them awake when we were babies so am actually looking forward to this challenge and experience.

so being better than Farhat is the test new batsmen have to pass to get into the team?

Shehzad averaged 26.50 in 19 matches, Farhat averages 32.35 with a better SR. we need an opener who can average more than 35 or can ball (like Hafeez)

you don't drop a guy who has shown the ability to score 100s once he gets set in ODIs...so what he had a poor WC? he's only 19, plenty of time to get better...Farhat is not the answer and we all know this...his technique looks the same as it did 10 years ago...cannot keep out a promising youngster for a tried & tested failure who has shown no improvement in technique hence why he'll have more failures than successes...

can some one please teach me how to understand bangali. I can't understand half of the posts at bangla forum. and they always start writing Bangali when in frustration.
or is there any other solution? some translation method.

that average came down due to the poor WC...but 2 100s in only 19 matches, and 3 40+ scores says a lot about his potential !!!

Farhat is NOT the answer!!! :facepalm:

Shehzad age is 19-20 & Farhat age is 29-30.

Shehzad can work on his batting in domestic cricket, just like the rest of talented batsmen.

And I agree, I never said he was, I was just pointing out that Shehzad's stats were even worse than Farhat's

good point. however regarding shehzad i am still not convienced. Bro his attitude, he should focus on his batting & make his bat talk rather than unnecessary issues.
 
I would be surprised if there is any Farhat fan here on PP right now! That will be a shocker!
