Wahab lost his potency as a wicket-taker on these pitches since the two new ball rule. He's our best bowler but the Watson spell was more of an outlier.

The only thing different now is he has more control, which means he is not smashed around. More often than not, he won't get you more than 1 or 2 wickets.
