Even Athar Ali Khan has had enough of these Pak bowlers. Wants someone to pick up a wicket

We'll get it back once we have tests in the UAE and India have tests away. I think it will keep alternating like this

Azhar, Younis, Misbah, Shafiq and Sarfraz is an excellent batting line-up for these conditions against any team. It'll be a win for us or a draw.
 
And jk trundling his way with 130k deliveries...and people here at pp call indian bowlers as trundlers..::facepalm::..pak cricket is a joke

Yeah, but without Younis and Misbah, our Test line up might look brittle and I don't rate Yasir much and Ajmal and Babar are finished.

We are already struggling to beat teams like SA, NZ, SL in the UAE, and will surely struggle against India.

Australia and England don't tour us often.
 
TBH Pak never relied on fast bowlers in the past 5 years. They always had to rely on Ajmal. They were succesful in AUS because the pitch was helping fast bowlers but on these flat wickets their limitations are being shown. They NEED a spinner
 
3-0 whitewash v Bangladesh LOL, Pakistan cricket is finished. There is no hope for the future.

Who bowled out Australia in the UAE. I forgot. Ajmal wasn't there I think. Was Babar there?
Anyways Yasir was pretty impressive in the tests

Yeah, but Babar is declining fast. One more year maximum.

I don't think Yasir is good enough against teams that play spin well.
 
there doesnt seem to be any interest to win the game . I dont think this is the worst team but this is the most disinterested team. there is no passion

But if our bowlers can not pick up wickets BD wll end up 600+ and it will put too much pressure on us. Hafeez is a walking wicket and BD has better spinners (Sunny, Taijul, Sakib, Razzak, Gazi) its hard to survive 5 days
 
Bangladesh in no hurry and Pak bowlers failing to apply any pressure.

It looks more like net practice for bangla batsmen.
 
No intent in the bowling.
They are running in and bowling all over the place.
No plan, strategy for any batsman.
Wahab used to set up the batsman with couple of bouncers and then fires a fast in-dipping yorker.
No such stuff.

Equally poor captaincy. No slips, closing fielders. All too defensive.
 
If we keep playing like this we will loose ODI status. We are really unfit for modern day cricket
 
Of all the chuckers, Hafeez has looked the best with his remodelled action. Can't keep him out, no matter how bad his batting might be.
 
Hafeez doesn't look bad with his new action. Better than Ajmal atleast. I'd play him as a specialist spinner but I won't play him as a top order batsman. Probably number 7

He hardly had to change it because he was barely over the limit unlike Ajmal who was WAY off. He should play at 7 just to finish off the innings
 
This day will go down as the day that changed Bangladesh cricket history.
 
Once Hafeez is bowling well on a regular basis, his batting will automatically become more confident.
 
I honestly don't want to see Babar succeed. Purely because he it doesn't make ANY sense to keep him in the team. This is a short term strategy at best
 
Just realised how horrible 2 new balls is to cricket in the subcontinent.
The only way to lose is if your batsmen have a bad showing
 
What a hammering this has been. Not sure what to think of this. Expected better performance from the young Pakistan team especially the bowling. Can't really say the bowling is inexperienced. Junaid and Wahab are anyways the primary bowlers for Pakistan. Sohail Khan probably should have been selected as he performed well in the world cup.
 
Babar is such a lazy and lacklustre cricketer. Absolutely no energy.
 
Hafeez is bowling economically, but as a collective bowling unit, Pak does not look like taking any wickets.

Looks like Pak is waiting for Bangla batsmen to have a brain fade.

U bangla fans think u become champion by humbling a weak pak side . whos player coming out of injury and bans and our out of rhythm and experience. im sure that this side once settled would continue our dominance over u for many more years .for Now Enjoy ur luck that came to u by fluke for once !!!

Sohail Khan was in the squad but got injured at the last minute.

Spot on. The two new-ball rule has really tilted the balance in the favor of the batsmen, especially in the subcontinent. 300 is the par score for every team.
 
Not good enough reflexes from Sami.
Just saw the ball and jumped straight away.
Should have set himself up then jumped.

If we can not take 1 wicket in ODI how can we take wickets against BD in test?:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:
 
Good that they are targeting Hafeez.
Will make it easier for selectors now!
 
I hope Tamim gets a third hundred on the trot, always have been a big fan. He could have been something special if he was born in India/SL/Pakistan. Still a very good career.
