Saqlain Mushtaq, Mohammad Wasim and Bazir Khan on PTV Sports right now

Sami Aslam to make his debut apparently

Bangladesh win the toss and batting!

What the hell, why sami and not babar. These people r fools. I would even take shehzz over ugly stanced sami

Make it count. Bangla. Real test for Bangladesh. Beat Pakistan: Pakistani fans has no accuses left but to give you a credit you deserve.

Pakistanis please zip your mouths and hope for the best. Enough arrogance, you don't wanna embarrass yourselves any further.

I would have taken Imran Khan instead of Junaid, but let's see how Junaid goes. Hoping for the best

Damnit. How on earth does Babar Azam not play? Technically twice as sound as Hafeez and Sami Aslam put together. Our selection policy gets more infuriating and mindboggling with every passing game.

Probably because our whole lineup is right-handed and Bangladesh has two left-arm orthodox.

Bangladesh with a long batting order. Sarkar at 7, Shuvugata Hom at 8 - has an average of 40 in FC :sami

That would have been the logical thing to do with Azhar opening.

But they opt to keep Hackfeez a sitting duck in the top order.

I think a few test match innings where he has no pressure of scoring rate and go as he likes is what Haris needs to gain confidence and unlock his full potential

I always get the feeling that in ODIs he has the scoring rate in hte back of his mind and so he loses concentration

Haris has never been bowled yet. He has a sold defensive technique and is made for test cricket. It is no coincidence he averages 50 in FC.

I am not sure how they are able to justify playing a 34 year old with a dodgy technique and no form over a player with 10 times a higher ceiling.

Would have like Haris to play

The only spot that he could've possibly played assuming Azhar is fixed at #3, would be Shafiq's spot. As much as I would like Haris in the XI, I think his frequent failure to convert a start dissuaded them. Besides, Shafiq merits that spot on performances, in fact tests are the only format Shafiq should be picked in.

experience :hafeez

This would have been my team. Hoping the pacers get a couple of early wickets and give the spinners an opening.

Makes sense. As much as I would have loved to have Mortaza trundling in at 120 kph, they know and he knows, he's just not cut-out for the longer format.

But shakib is there too who was the interim odi capt. I thought he was the test capt as well.

As Saqlain Mushtaq predicted, looks like Bangladesh are going all out for a draw. Flat track, batting till 8. Judging by cricinfo, Even the Bangladesh fans are surprised Zubair Ahmed has been left out.

Pitch is gonna turn like hell on day 4 and 5, and we have to bat last, we have no hope unless we get them below 250 in first inning, and take lead of atleast 150 at the end of our 1st inning.

In before complaints about Junaid not swinging the ball on a road with no clouds in sight.

LOL, the analysis is still ongoing on PTV Sports and the game has started

Saqlain Mushtaq is still talking on PTV Sports :)))

And one of the lights in the studios is off...
