Hey guys, really would love your opinion on this. So I bought an SG nexus bat last time I went to India, and when I brought it back my cousin played with it without knocking it in and a crack appeared on the back of it. I had written it off as broken until a friend told me that maybe I could still play with it by fixing it somehow, so I thought I'd ask the wise people of this forum if this is indeed still a usable bat and how i can make the most of this situation since I really do like this bat. I'll attach some pictures to show the damage. Thanks!

Fibreglass tape 1" above and below the crack and wrap very tight.

Then once final wrapping directly over the crack.

It may not last long but it's worth a punt.

Most will say bin it but I've seen worse last over my years in the arena.

It is an interesting break/fracture, did your mate vent some anguish against the corner of the club house wall ?

thanks for the reply, i don't think i've got fiberglass tape, would duct tape or hockey tape work? lol not that i know of! its hard to show in the pictures but the crack only seems surface deep, the edges don't show anything

It is very easy to find any size and thickness of fiberglass tape at a simple sports store. I reckon its worth a drop-by-the-store if you want to save your bat.
