I have an older bat and has been neglected , I removed the scuff sheet and stickers. Mow left with glue residue and dirty marks all over the bat. How do i remove the glue , other sites say alcohol and others . But I think that would effect/dry the willow?

The toe has had some damage, I removed the toe guard recently and it looks very dry. It has some cracks and there is a small chunk missing on the left side. How do I repair this?

Do i just sand the whole bat (even the handle as there is sticker glue/marks there) can i repair the toe? IMG_1344.jpgIMG_1343.jpgIMG_1342.jpgIMG_1341.jpgIMG_1337.jpgIMG_1323.jpg

I used sand paper and goo gone spray to remove the stickiness. But dont use too much liquid. Use a steel spatula that looks like a flat chisel to scrape the glue off. And the sand it after so that the liquid doesnt stay on too long. Sand out the toe. Take a look at bob wilmer bat repair on youtube. He does it to his chipped bat.
