Batting against spinners with variations - Do more matches help?

If I was the Indian team management, I would have "rested" Kuldeep with the series won to prevent the NZ batters from picking all his variations with more match practice.

The flip side of the argument is they might develop a mental block against him if they continue to struggle so it is fine to have them bat against him.

I think if he is good enough then there is no need to hide him.

There is tons of data available on him anyway.

He doesn't have any real mystery balls so the more he plays the more experienced he gets nothing wrong with it , if he gets smashed today, he needs to learn from it and get better rather he have his bad games now than in WC.
