Batting vs Bowling: Which is more important nowadays?

After the two new ball rule in ODI cricket, and the change in mindset in cricket over the last few years, I just want to hear what you guys think.

Is it more important to take more wickets, or score more runs?

This can be in any format.

True, but would you say that taking more wickets wins more games than scoring more runs?

Technically, you could blast a team out of the game by scoring 370 in an ODI, but at the same time, you could bundle them out for 120, so then which one makes it more likely to win a game?
