Paris St-Germain take on Bayern Munich in a mouth-watering Champions League final on Sunday - with both teams looking to create history for themselves.

A competition which started in June 2019 with the preliminary round comes to a climax between arguably the best side in world football against one of the planet's finest forward lines.

While ruthless Bayern chase only the second European-domestic treble in their proud history, PSG are looking to be crowned champions of Europe for the first time.

This is the final I predicted when the CL restarted.

I will go with PSG as I think Bayern high line will be exposed by PSG front 3. I don't really trust Boeating and Alaba as a CB pairing. PSG defence is pretty solid.

Should be a great game.
 
If PSG manages to win the UCL today - Mbappe will become a World Cup winner and UCL winner at the age of 20.

Damn. The start of a new era.

Not sure whether psgs run to the final was easier or whether Sri Lanka run to the final in 96 was easier

Psg players will turn up for once and will probably be too good for munich
 
BM has been on form, but there defence will be the problem today, thankfully for them neymars shooting has got worse and worse so they can concentrate on mbappe while attacking, i expect a hard fought win for them today, but it wont be easy.
 
Not been up to speed with football for a few years, but is it the first time in a few years that there is no English or Spanish side in the final?

Bayern has more quality Mbappe vs Kimmich Bayern to win on penalties 2-2 @ FT
 
Anything can happen when you have players like Neymar and Mbappe but Bayern play to 80% of the level, it should be an easy win for them.

I wouldn't mind PSG winning, maybe Mbappe will leave and join the GOAT team :klopp

Slow start but this game is now alive.

Neymar and Levon both miss chances to score.
 
Still 0-0 after 57 minutes, not as open as it was near the end of the first half anymore. Bayern definitely not playing as high a line as in previous matches.

And a minute later Coman heads Bayern into the lead. Horrible defending and marking, PSG's back 4 all over the place.
 
And again they don't pick up Coman at the back post. What are they doing??
 
As I thought Bayern are now in control.

Cant see PSG coming back from this. They will send everyone up and will be caught on the counter again.

PSG with a period of sustained attack, putting Bayern on the back foot, a couple of nearly moments. Game isn't done yet.

Yep, PSG came back to win late in the semi final.

But Bayern will prob score again when PSG get desperate. Wouldn't mind draw for extra time, great game.
 
Entering the last 10 minutes and it's looking increasingly likely Bayern will hang on to their lead.

How fitting that it was a PSG academy graduate in Kingsley Coman to score the winner vs PSG in their first ever UCL final. Well, maybe fitting is the wrong word for any PSG fan :)))

They were barely in the game because their team was overwhelmed in midfield. Yes they had a couple of chances on the break, but Bayern bossed the game mostly, other than Mbappe and Neymar, I'm not really sure what the rest of the PSG was about.

It was always going to be psg hitting them on the break and they got there chances, both mbappe/neymar and di maria should be burying those chances in the first half

Congrats. I didn't even know it was the Final yesterday. Usually there is so much hype before CL final, but due to Covid-19 this is not important at all and rightly so.
