Read his column sometimes in the Times, although mostly just skip it. I might download this and see what it's like though, we've all probably related to the story somewhere along the line.

It's only available on iplayer for 28 days.

I was at school and uni with the guy and our mums worked together so I'm a bit biased. The book had great reviews and the film is accessible if schmaltzy take on it.

It was on tv yesterday but I missed it, but I thought I'd get it on catch up services later on this week. It got a decent review today by one of his fellow columnists in the tv review section.
 
watched it yesterday - really boring, indian kid - goes out with gori- his parents dont know, and vice versa
