Cricket South Africa (CSA) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are delighted to confirm the scheduling of yet another thrilling KFC T20 International (T20I) series, which will see India traveling to South Africa in November 2024.

The KFC T20I Series will consist of four matches beginning on Friday 8 November at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium in Durban. The next match is scheduled to take place in the friendly city of Gqeberha on Sunday 10 November at Dafabet St George’s Park. The series then moves to the highveld, with SuperSport Park hosting a match on Wednesday 13 November, and DP World Wanderers Stadium hosting the final match of the series on Friday, 15 November.

Mr Lawson Naidoo, CSA Chairperson, said: “I would like to thank the BCCI for their continued support to South Africa’s cricket, and world cricket in general. Any tour by the Indian cricket team to our shores is filled with amazing camaraderie and exciting cricket, and I know our fans will be eagerly awaiting this series which will showcase the exceptional talent from both teams.”

Mr. Jay Shah, Honorary Secretary of the BCCI, stated: "India and South Africa have always shared a deep and strong bond, one that both nations take great pride in. The Indian Cricket Team has consistently received immense appreciation and love from South African fans, and this sentiment is equally strong among Indian fans towards the South African side. I am confident that the upcoming series will once again highlight the on-field cricketing excellence and deliver enthralling, high-intensity contests."

This series is set to be a riveting showcase of cricketing talent from both nations, eagerly awaited by fans anticipating the clash between two global cricketing powerhouses.

Of all the places ,bcci choose chennai for bng test match. They should have choosen bangalore for bng and chennai for nz.Really idiotic .

Why? whats the issue?
Rachin Ravindra has family in Bangalore na.
Chennai Spin pitch is like a home track for bangladesh. We should make their life difficult not ours.In morning times, there will be swing on offer in Bangalore and we will get in to trouble.Aus used to wipe us all the time there in test matches.Last time when we played a test match against nz in bng, we won by huffing and puffing.

BCCI issues revised schedule for international home season (2024-25)
The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Tuesday, 13th August 2024 announced an updated schedule for the upcoming home season of Team India (Senior Men) for 2024-25.

The first T20I between India and Bangladesh, initially set to be held in Dharamsala on 6th October 2024, will now take place in Gwalior owing to upgrades and renovation work being carried out by the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association in the dressing rooms.

The match in Gwalior marks the inaugural international fixture at the city's new stadium - Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium - and the first since the historic India-South Africa ODI in 2010, where the legendary Sachin Tendulkar became the first male cricketer to score a double century in ODIs.

The Board further announces a swap in the venues of the first and second T20Is against England. Chennai, originally scheduled to host the first T20I will now host the second while Kolkata will host the opening T20I instead of the second, as announced earlier. The dates for the first T20I (22nd January 2025) and the second T20I (25th January 2025) remain the same. The venue change was necessitated following a request from Kolkata Police to the Cricket Association of Bengal regarding their prior Republic Day commitments and obligations.

The revised schedule is as below.
