Not what you like to think about as a Pakistan fan but lets open our minds a bit, shall we?

===

2 that come to my mind - Irfan Pathan Hat-trick and Kumble 10fer.... Each very special in its own way.

McGrath in the Perth Test in 2004. Complete destruction.

Kumble 10 for, for me.

Absolute carnage from one end after Pakistan was off to a great start.

Apart from kumble and mcgrath the most recent one comes to mind is

Bishoo
8-49 off 13.5

Team wise had to be the 2 x 50s against aus in 2002 mentioned above That was a complete and utter embarassment

As my little brother andy0204 pointed, Dale Steyn with figures of 6-8 is right up in the list.

We cannot bat so ‘great’ performances against us need to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Running through a Pakistani lineup doesn’t mean much, so it is important to consider the lineups against which these bowlers made hay.

Steyn and Bishoo dominated woeful batting lineups.

Apart from the names mentioned above Venkatesh Prasad's 5/27 at Old Trafford in the 1999 WC group match. We were defending a low score against a far better team, and to see Venky bowl the way he did was special. An underrated star in Indo-Pak rivalry, if one also recalls 1996 QF.

Also remember Sachin and Dada winning matches with the ball against Pak, Sachin's 5fer in Kochi and Ganguly a few times in Toronto his best effort being 5/16 to clinch the series 3-0.

from top of my head, srinath's fourteen wickets in the 1999 calcutta test match. he was absolutely unplayable in that match. his contribution should have been enough were it not for the dropped catch.

in the first innings, india had a very strong pakistani line-up floundering at around 30/6 before a fighting 60 by moin enabled pak to gain some respectability. thanks to srinanth, pak started poorly in the second innings as well and would have likely folded had azhar not dropped saeed anwer of srinanth when s.a. was in mid20s. from that point on, saeed anwar would go on to play one of the greatest test innings by a pakistani. pattern of this match would be repeated few years later in karachi where india again had pak down at around 50/6.

overall, warne - the drugs cheat. he was even immense in the 1994 tour before he was really famous. pakistani batsmen who played him well were salim malik and younas khan. saeed anwer did ok against him. made likes of azhar mehmood and razzak look like clueless bunnies. played a big part in ending basit ali's career when bowled basit ali between his legs. this was the last ball of the day before which warne had called healy for a conference. not sure what they discussed but warne claimed later that it was dinner plans. basit ali could not live this down for quite a while.

honourable mention to mcgrath and alan donald - i can recall a test match in s.a. where even top order batsmen were scared of facing him. also from stories, apparently sylvester clarke proved to be a real demon during a tour of pakistan.

Kumble 10fer will always be remembered. Absolute carnage. Even the mode of dismissals for a spinner seemed quite aggresive. A lot of clean bowled and lbw. Was bowling very fast and straight during that spell.

i should have checked scorecard before posting. srinath took 13 wickets and not 14 as i stated. one of the greatest test matches i have ever seen. and immense contribution by akram as well who played these sort of innings on countless occasions.

Unexpected ones had been more heartbreaking.
iirc , Simon Doull once destroyed Pak Batting throughtout the test series.
And Duanne Olivier.
