India and England were toughest to pick as so many greats were not selected. Likes of Ganguly ,Raina, Roy and Pietersen were unlucky to miss out due to team balance.
Australia was easiest to pick.

Pakistan
Saeed anwar
Mohammed Rizwan
Babar Azam
Inzamam ul haq
Misbah ul Haq
Mohammed Hafeez
Abdul razzaq
Shahid afridi
Wasim Akram
Waqar younis

You can not have shoib of early 2000s with waqar of 2000s who was well past it.

Some addition teams.

England
Marcus trescothick
Nick knight
Michael atherton
Nasser Hussain
Paul collingwood
Alec Stewart
Andrew flintoff
Ashley Giles
Darren gough
Andrew Caddick
James Anderson

Pakistan
Saeed anwar
Mohammed Rizwan
Babar Azam
Inzamam ul haq
Misbah ul Haq
Mohammed Hafeez
Abdul razzaq
Shahid afridi
Wasim Akram
Waqar younis
Shaheen shah Afridi

Akram and Younis were close to mediocre after 2000s.. Shoaib Akhtar maintained good average and continued to pick regular wickets till 2008.
Shaheen is too young to include. Let him complete 100 wickets first. Sarfaraz has better ODI record than Rizwan.

England
Marcus trescothick
Nick knight
Michael atherton
Nasser Hussain
Paul collingwood
Alec Stewart
Andrew flintoff
Ashley Giles
Darren gough
Andrew Caddick
James Anderson

I doubt Caddick and Giles have even 100 Odi wickets combined.

The India XI picks itself:

1. Sehwag
2. Tendulkar
3. Dravid
4. Kohli
5. Dhoni wk/c
6. Yuvraj
7. Jadeja
8. Harby Singh
9. Zaheer Khan
10. Bumrah
11. Shami

Bangladesh
Tamim Iqbal
Liton Das
Mohammad Asharful
Shakib Al Hasan
Mushfiquer Rahim(w)
Mahmudullah
Saumya Sarkar
Mashrafe Mortaza*
Abdur Razzak
Mustafizur Rahman
Rubel Hossain

This one is okay but I don't know why you added Soumya Sarkar. He was and still is very poor.

I would have Habibul Bashar over him.

Here's my BD XI:

Tamim Iqbal
Mohammad Ashraful
Habibul Bashar (c)
Aminul Islam
Shakib Al Hasan
Mushfiqur Rahim(w)
Mahmudullah
Mashrafe Mortaza*
Abdur Razzak
Mustafizur Rahman
Rubel Hossain.

This should be a decent Test team. Not sure about ODI.

I think Morgan's England should replace this team.

No idea where OP is getting Dhawan and Sharma is openers above Sehwag :ashwin

And one of those England ODI XI looks atrocious...Caddick, Giles and Jimmy??

Mine would be:

1. Roy
2. Hales
3. Root
4. KP
5. Morgan c
6. Buttler wk
7. Flintoff
8. Ali
9. Rashid
10. Plunkett
11. Gough

I can't believe how strong an England team there is, considering how poor the 00s were for them in ODIs.

Let's make an Aussie XI and see if it can be any stronger:

1. Hayden
2. Warner
3. Ponting c
4. Smith
5. Gilchrist wk
6. Watson
7. Symonds
8. Warne
9. Lee
10. Starc
11. McGrath

But he has more impressive numbers than Bashar..
Very few Bangladeshis has a strike rate near 100 in ODIs.
Also Aminul's sample size is too size to consider him.

Actually you select a great team 👍🏻.
But Kumble took less than 100 wickets after 2000 with average above 30.
I too considered adding Raina but Dhawan's numbers were too good to ignore.
Also i added Jadeja instead of Pathan as he is better batsman and i already have Zaheer as my left arm pacer.

It is about the impact.

Guys like Habibul Bashar and Aminul Islam used to play during the early days. They built a foundation for guys like Shakib to take over.

Also, Soumya's stats are deceptive. He scores something like 10* from 5 balls. It shows good strike rate but doesn't really help team's cause.

Furthermore, Soumya is pretty much a Zimbabwe/minnow basher.

Sehwag is biggest underachiever in ODIs..
Average of 35 doesn't justify his talent.
Rohit is probably 2nd best opener in history of ODIs after Sachin.

Good teams but selections like Sharjeel, Chandimal, Jacobs and Alzarri are laughable..

I think you are focusing too much on stats. Some players cannot be judged based on stats alone. Sehwag is one of those players.

Ryan ten Doeschate has an ODI average of 60+. Does that mean he is the best of all time?

I think stats along with contexts/impacts need to be taken into consideration.

Good teams but selections like Sharjeel, Chandimal, Jacobs and Alzarri are laughable..

West Indies didn't really have a stable ODI keeper once Ridley Jacobs retired.

They had Ramdin, Browne etc. They were quite ordinary.

There's Shai Hope but he is pretty new.

Good list. There was a guy, Mohammad Rafique. Left arm spinner, does he deserve a go?

I think Rohit and Dhawan has more match winning knocks than Sehwag in ODIs.
Sehwag's aggressive nature meant there was always risk of him getting out for single digits.
Plus Dhawan and Rohit has tremendous records in tournaments.

Who added Neesham in NZ ODI XI?

:))

New Zealand were pretty ordinary in ODI from 2000 to 2014. So, some of the guys from 2015 to 2020 have to be considered. Neesham makes the cut for me (due to the fact he can bowl too).

Here's my NZ XI:

Fleming (c)
Guptill
Williamson
Ross Taylor
Brendon Mccullum (wk)
Oram
Neesham
Vettori
Southee
Boult
Bond.

Don't know about Nafees but rest are well deserved in my opinion. Ashraful and Bashar were the shining stars for BD in 90s and early 00s.
