Just got a new phone !!

What is the best way to charge a phone to ensure long health of the battery?

Insert the plug of the charger into an electrical outlet.

Insert the other end into your phone.

Let it charge. All the way to 100%.

That's what I do. :mv

Use the chargers that are for your phone and turn the Brightness down. Shut it down occasionally.

I usually brush my beard with the phone. I used to brush my hair too, but that is no longer an option, so I have to compensate with a hipster beard. Anyhow, after a pew passes, the phone has enough static electricity to attract pieces of paper. Et voila, a charged phone.

Be warned, the charge doesn't last for long, so make the most of it.

On occasion, I have charged the phone with various crimes and misdemeanors. In my experience, charging it with battery is the most effective, and keeps it on the straight and narrow for a good bit of time.

I hope you gave it a long sentence for bringing up all those dodgy websites that appear on a daily basis.

Someone’s understood the question finally

Charge it through PC's USB slot if you want safe charging (and your phone supports USB Charging).
Otherwise use a socket backed by stabilizer (Good quality extensions do place one in them these days). DO NOT USE ONE BACKED BY UPS/GENERATOR, it is battery suicide.

Also, avoid fast-charging as it can heat-up phone/battery decreasing their lifetime. But also, do not use a very slow charger as it can also be bad to put up phone on charge for long. I am using my old Galaxy J5's regular charger with Galaxy S7 and its going good.

Also, avoid using sastay power banks as they don't have diodes to protect over-charging/unstable power.

In all seriousness, whatever you do (DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT CHARGE YOUR PHONE OVERNIGHT), kills the battery like no other. I have a spare Iphone 4s that I've used everyday since December 2011 and even till this day I get a 1.5-2 days of whatsapp, email and texting from this phone without any problems.

You can use whatever method you like to charge the phone, doesn't necessarily matter how you do it since the voltage from the cable is the same.

Please try the same cable on Pakistani UPSes for once, you'll know its not true :misbah4

Do not left it out in -40 C.
Modern phones have protections against over charging and these batteries do not have any memory, so basically you should be fine.
