We have many threads discussing best world cup inning ever, best world cup inning in a final, etc. Why not have one for best batting partnerships?

Some of them from top of my head:

Majid-Zaheer - 1979 world cup semi-final against West Indies
Imran-Miandad - 1992 world cup final against England
Law-Bevan - 1996 world cup semi-final against West Indies
De Silva-Ranatunga - 1996 world cup final against Australia
Waugh-Bevan - 1999 world cup semi-final against South Africa
Gambhir-Dhoni - 2011 world cup final against Sri Lanka

I think, I'll take one more (and as top) - Viv-Kings at 1979 Final. Collis Kings joined Viv at 99-4, with Viv at 47 and next man was Derek Murray - he reached 50 keeping Viv at 49 and departed at 238, after scoring 86 out of 139 with a partner named IVA Richards of 1979!!!!!. That innings had 4 ducks and 3rd highest of 20, and the highest being 138* - to me the greatest WC innings still.

Mazid-Zaheer definitely should come among top 3. Rest are too close to call - may be I'll add the Murray-Roberts 10th wicket partnership of 1975 as well among top 5, which won the WC (availed a SF spot on way to win the Cup) - chasing ~267, WIN were 166/8, then ~200/9 .... that last pair added 60+ at better than run a ball to save elimination.
