Who in your opinion was the best young player of this year's PSL?

Shadab Khan easily

Easy. Nobody comes close to our Shadab boy.

Talat great too, sadly couldn't play much.

Main difference from others is both of these are good overall players and can bat very well too.

Others are primarily bowlers.

Well, Hasan Ali was considered as an "Emerging" player during the tournament.

Hasan Ali would be the best young player. Shadab would be the best emerging player. In another thread someone questions why there was no award recognizing emerging players. In baseball "rookie of the year" is a very prestigious award. Basically recognizes players making their debut.

Now imagine if he flops like no tomorrow in international cricket. Knowing PP'ers and Pakistani fans by extension, they will all be calling for his head after a couple of match.

Expectations will be very high, which will be unfair on Shadab. He's still only 18, after all.

Fakhar Zaman should have been in this poll and Hasan Ali should not. Any way it was easily Shadab Khan. Hussain Talat should have gotten more games. I think he would have done well.

However I really liked what I saw from Talat , it was insane he didn't get games earlier give his stellar domestic season and ISU's batting problems.

I know people like Hasan Khan, has the makings of a good player but I don't see any immediate future for him. Another left armer, we have a horde of them with Ashgar the best.

Was also happy to see Shinwari improve , maybe in a season or two he get to the level he needs to be at.

Completely fail to see the hype around Irfan Jnr

Pardon me, I did not know Fakhar's age. All I know is Hasan Ali has played for Pakistan whereas Fakhar hasn't. We all know Hasan Ali's potential since he has already played for Pakistan whereas Fakhar was someone who I saw for the first time this PSL.

Imagine Shadab bowling to Kohli in the CT and he bowls his trademark googly the first ball he bowls to him and it goes through the gate or catches plumb in front.
