Bill authorizing parliament to appoint judges ready, PML-N & PPP ready to destroy the institutions!

Rumours floating of property tycoon Malik Riaz playing a key role in the appointment of new NAB chief after he assured PML-N and PPP that he (the NAB chief) would always stay loyal to them.

The only reason he has been appointed is that he will do as he is told. Does anyone seriously think that these crooks would ever appoint an honest person? Maybe one day we will see someone loyal to Pakistan rather than thieves. You wont see the atheist/desi liberals on this thread for dust.

This is actually true and multiple sources in media confirmed it that Malik Riaz played the tole as a guarantor.

But but but big bad army is against jamhoriat :sree :sree :sree

Nice attempt at creating a strawman but that's not why they're hated by a certain segment of society. Off the top of my head, the following are the main reasons:

- Financial corruption on a scale unmatched by any other entity in Pakistan.
- Enforced disappearances.
- Supporting terrorists including those who attack Pakistan.
- Forcing through suboptimal foreign policy measures that benefit them but harm Pakistan's interests on the world stage.
- Repeated coups resulting in institutions reminiscent of a newly independent country since they were never allowed time to develop and have to start from zero after every dictatorship.

With that out of the way, the particular brand of Jamhuriat that exists in Pakistan is a gift from the military anyway seeing how they created the MQM and the Sharif brand, and then elevated them to the highest echelons of power. Anyone who claims to be a patriot and yet defends the indefensible, willing to look the other way when it's the army but not when it's a civilian, is, simply put, lying through their teeth and it's that kind of intellectual dishonesty from the public at large is why they deserve every bit of misery the ruling class, civil, military, and mullah, throw their way.

Heard of a former ISI chief's brother, a PIA aircraft and a German museum?

No but they're involved in so many illegal activities it's hard to keep track of them all. Think Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari combined, on a bunch of steroids, and you have our military. I was aware of the PIA plane issue but not about a former ISI chief's brother being involved.
