It seems they want to limit or see a decline in the Muslim population. Acc to google its around 35% Muslims. Being situated near Bangladesh, they are probably worried this territory would see a separatist angle rising. Doing this only speeds it up not hastens it.

I fully stand for taking a strict action against illegal immigration as is the norm in US and many other nations now which many Ppers here support when news of action against Indian illegal immigrants break out.

But this is taking it bit too far and shows that the leaders are not aware how this hurts India's image in the muslim nations of the world, many of whom have good relations with us, but by doing this we will gradually lose the friendships with their people and a lot of our international visitors to these nations would have needless explainations to give to curious and hurt muslims there.

Do you even know what's a miya? It's a local Assamese term for illegal Bangladeshi immigrants living in my state of Assam. Every single Assamese, irrespective of their religion, hate them to death. In fact Assamese Muslims hate them even more than Assamese Hindus. They deserve all the hate not because of their religion, but because they are criminals who have spoiled my state.

My state and my country is for Indians, not for outsiders to come and live illegally.​

I'm an indigenous Assamese and I know the ground realities about my state and culture. My forefathers have been living in Assam for hundreds of years

Rest, I won't even dignify any of that garbage coming about my state from a Pakistani who has never even stepped foot in my country, with an opinion. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:​
 
Fundamental difference between India and Pakistan.

In India, such mistakes are not taken lightly, there is public outcry and often the culprits are pushed into a corner. Thats a working democracy for you. Not perfect but non a place where you get away with anything.

In Pakistan, on the contrary, it is very common to see make people turn issues into Anti Hindu rants. During war time, we all saw footages of Pakistani newsrooms where people were seen calling fpr bombs to be dropped on hindu temples and people asking moulanas if its ok to take Hindu women once war is over and India is won and stuff like that. No public outcry. No apologies. No action.
 
Pakistanis should worry about their own house, the man will be taken care of as per Bhartiya laws.

When you say you are indignous Assamese do you mean you look like the rest of the people who reside in that region? Because it is separated by Bandladesh which means that is probably unlikely.
