It was a terrible performance by PAK in the 2nd test but now they have learnt that you cannot underestimate the Windies in a test match in their own backyard. You need to bring Wahab in for Shadab and replace Asad with Usman. YK is bound to score a daddy hundred in his final test as well. This is definitely a historic test series win in the Caribbean coming up. Win toss and bat first . In case you lose the toss, make sure you bat only once!

One more blessing in disguise and Pakistan's record in WI will remain unscathed. :)

Haha. Why does pakistan, always have atleast one blessing in disguise, every series?

Really, you are too blessed.

Why won't you? Atlast, you have players, who are blessed in all three facets of the game

One thing is for sure. Misbah will never drop Shafiq. Salahuddin will come for Azam and Riaz/Ali(if fit) will come for Khan

Blessing in disguise no.100000000000000.
Pakistan r world champions in blessing in disguises by the looks of it.
I suppose losing all matches in Ct will also be a blessing in disguise.

If this is a blessing in disguise, then we've had several of them in the last few months.

Nothing has changed.

The blessing is that nobody will try to get Misbah and Younis to come back!

Nothing that prompts yet another recall of Riaz (or Rahat) is a blessing. They weren't dropped just so that Shadab could practice his length and line. Just aren't good enough on most days. At least with Shadab I
thought we might see a quick 50 with the bat.

Not true at all. Wahab wa Pakistan's best bowler in Australia by a mile. He can't be dropped at a whim like that.

Both WI & PAK has a chance to prove that PAK isn't a decent opposition. :(

I still think Pakistan are better than Windies as a test team. The batting lineup is fragile and unproven and Bishoo has to be replaced by Miguel Cummins.

If PAK bats second, you don't expect much from a team led by Captain with Misbah's philosophy. PAK Batted for 170+ overs against these WI hacks, with one decent pacer - stilled ended up scoring <480 in combined innings, that too after 150+ opening pair - PAK actually lost around 330/20 in 110+ overs, at Bridgetown, which is one of the smallest ground in world & fastest outfields around. This strategy works when you bat first & take whole day to post a total for 4th innings, inch by inch. If you are to win batting 2nd, team has to be more aggressive - the last Test was a replica of Harare Test few years back; extremely poor opponent, but PAK choking to the pressure.

Unless Misbah wins the toss, my money on WI taking it 2-1, coming from 0-1 behind.

Agreed. West Indies are certainly favourites if they win the toss for the next test.

To be honest i was really surprised how Pakistan managed to win the first test match and realized it was down to their bowlers herculean effort. The team that pakistan has at the moment will lose 99/100 times against any test playing nation, they have 1 batsman, azhar, 1 wk sarfaraz and 3 bowlers -abbas, amir and yasir. Misbah, and younis are inconsistent as ever for the last couple of years and they have 3 passengers in the batting line up shehzad, babar and shafiq, frankly, i was expecting a 3-0 whitewash.

It seems like every time Pakistan bat in the 4th innings it is a blessing in disguise.

They're just plain rubbish, don't need such mimicry, trolling threads.

Scrambled seam deliveries were jagging around like Wasim's banana swing... the pitch was way too deteriorated to chase anything above a 100 I believe..

We lost the game during WI 2nd innings, where our bowlers are the main culprits for letting WI get away with it...

Shadab is the main culprit of this game, there was no way he should've been included in the side, a fast bowler would've bowled better here. We lost the game when he introduced two leg spinners because one did very well upfirst

I guess in the last 8 months, we lot have truly been blessed playing the 4th innings in such a consistent manner......

Yes he was the best bowler in Australia and yet with an average of 36 that fairly reflects his
career performance, he was also not good enough. Nothing whimsical about it

Agree here. I could honestly recall few threads with same theme in the last 1-2 years.
