A naturally aggressive top-order batsman and competent offspinner, Brian Bennett quickly rose to the senior Zimbabwe squad. In early 2022, he excelled in the Under-19 World Cup, leading Zimbabwe's run tally with 273 runs across six matches at an average of 45.50. Just ten months later, he made his first-class debut for the Mountaineers, stepping in as a concussion substitute for Spencer Magodo.

Touted as the next big thing from Zimbabwe. Averages 41 in FC and almost 50 in List A. what do you make of him?

@Rana what is ur take on this guy??
Does he deserve a chance in psl??
Bro PSL isn’t where he should be looking. It’s a stupid league that has a stupid scouting system. They missed guys like Mitchell Owen, Beretzkee, Cooper Connolly and Lhuan Pretorious in the draft.

He has a better shot at getting franchise exposure by working his way up through BPL, SLT20 or the Canada league if his agent can get him through some good work with franchises. Once he builds a rapporteur, then he can aim for SAT20 and Hundred.

PSL ko maaro goli, that shouldn’t be the aim.
