Can an English victory spark a renaissance in cricket interest in the UK?

Unless there is good quality cricket on FTA the renaissance will be short lived. For many kids the final was the first time they actually watched cricket and had a chance to see exciting players like Buttler and Stokes who should be household names and sporting heroes to them. Unfortunately, I don't see the ECB undertaking any real steps to change the TV coverage; the forthcoming Ashes series would be an deal opportunity for at least some of the match to be FTA.
