A star is someone who attracts crowd and gains media attention not necessarily the one who gives the best performances!
As we know guys like Afridi, Razzaq , Wasim Akram , Imran Khan , Shoaib Akhtar , Waqar were few household names guys who could gain media attention but since Afridi we barely had any big name.
Anyone closest to being a sort of star in our team for a long time has been Amir (that too mostly because of his controversial past)
But Hasan seems to gain attention of commentators and even foreign crowds with his performances passion and celebration. Even with bat he has not fear approach and his celebration is unique :tahir2
Can Hasan (and to lesser extend Shadab) be our next superstars?
just like Kohli or Dhoni are for India
or Afridi used to be for us

He's gotta demand the new ball from Captain Tubby. He's gotta learn to bowl with restrictions now, not three years down the line.

i guess he is on track for that.

maybe if he added a bit more aggresion to his bowling like akhtar or bowled some memorable spells in crunch time (amir in ct final) he can def go up there

his batting prob wont be the factor just an added bonus

even few parosi posters have suggested that we after a decade or so due to young guns have become exciting to watch after being SL in disguise for a decade or so

Parosis have some incredible young stars already as well. Pandya is huge crowd puller. I guess Fakhar can be one of those too as in T10 he was hitting it beautifully and a few hundreds in UAE could make him a star

If he carries on his CT form,I don't see a reason why he can't be . Some posters on this forum wrote him off too early. Glad to see he served some humble pie.

We all know who was responsible for our boring brand of cricket

:salute

I think he could but he's got some ways to go before he establishes himself as a star player. CT was big for him as it put the spotlight on him. It will be interesting to see how he does in it.
