Writing is on the wall now.

The lead is closing on 150 and given the state of our batting, I am not too sure if we can save this game!

Happy to be proven wrong.

Logic says this is a draw but scoreboard pressure can do things to any side

Pakistan genuinely on the backfoot here.

Also not sure about the fitness of some of the players due to flu

Yes they can. But it feels like with all of the missed chances and the momentum running against Pakistan for a number of weeks now that the situation is primed for another batting collapse & a fairly comfortable New Zealand victory.

Though Kane has done his bit to ensure its a draw but wickets at the other end might just make this game interesting.

Look at what we are discussing here, if Pakistan can save a Test match in Karachi against NZ. Not underestimating Kiwis at all, but the state of our cricket is all time low it feels.

I hope Pakistan can get a draw out of it. Am surprised that Abrar didn’t do more. Being hit for 200 is no joke.

In TEST cricket it is all time low. This lot also cant play TEST cricket, just not good enough. They need to focus on white ball cricket as there they have chances to do well.

TEST cricket is not made for them and honestly they shouldn't be playing it.

Test cricket needs guts. Unfortunately the present pakistani batting lacks guts. Their first thought is, dont lose and score runs. After that let's see what happens.

They should save the Test.

It is a flat pitch. Pakistan are the home side. If they can't save it, it would be disappointing.

Same feeling, going to be difficult to save the match as prone to collapse in this situation.

He wasn’t helped by poor fielding / keeping and a flat pitch

They will collapse. Plus Babar is unwell

pakistan used to wreak havoc against newzealand with out quick bowlers , wasim akram waqar younis shoaib akhtar mohammad zahid and later asif and amir bowled well against them too. We dont have that quality pace attack anymore.

will be tough job for NZ. there is a considerable amount of rough for spinners, but it is away outside the leg stump for right handers. the two left arm seamers haven't made that much of rough in their follow through.
will be an exciting last session if NZ can get PAK all out with 20 overs remaining and 120 target.

Another Embarrassing defeat knocking at the door. We can't hope to win/draw tests if we can't take 20 wickets. Visiting Bowlers (pace+Spin) doing better than Pak bowlers that's just mind boggling.

It will be an innings defeat or a NZ 8 wicket win chasing 30-50 runs. Surviving and saving the match..... that's what we play for Pathetic

Once again this year, Pakistan looking to avoid defeat on the final day.

NZ spinners look very threatening with the rough, far more than the PAK spinners did. I'm not so optimistic.

Pakistan survived 130 overs in first inning. NZ have given themselves 120 overs to dismiss Pakistan in 2nd inning.

NZ will target to get remaining 8 wickets in max 75 overs tomorrow. With current approach Pakistan will get a lead of 100 runs in that time.

Pakistan will be out by tea tomorrow and NZ will then slog there way to victory.

Apart from Babar the batting is mentally weak when trying to save a game or bat last.

Imam will get out early tomorrow, Saud will throw his wicket away as usual and Agha will be left to farm the tail.

Just to give teams like NZ Eng a sniff of victory at Karachi tells you All you need to know!

No way Pakistan is winning this one. They will be ALL OUT before Lunch.

Only hope of drawing this match is NAUMAN ALI. If he doesn’t play a snore-fest innings of 7(240), then it’s game over for Pakistan.

Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam, Salman Agha will be dismissed easily.

We might see a fight from the brave lion Sarfraz Ahmed.

Pakistan will draw the game, the difference between Kiwi and England is that England scoring rate. That gave there bowlers much more time to bowl out Pakistan.

Don't trust Pakistan in the slightest. We could have easily saved the 1st Test vs ENG, but they bottled it. We could've easy won the 2nd Test, but they bottled it.

Will only be confident of avoiding loss if we are only 3 or 4 wickets down at Tea. Anything more and it's NZ's game.

80% draw and 20% NZ win.

Lead is less than 100. If Pak can survive until tea with a lead of 150, this will be a tame draw.

I think Pakistan will save the test. The bowling has been the major let down for the last year.

Does the current Indian batting has the guts ?

So it's the beast Nauman Ali standing between a Pakistani defeat and Draw at Karachi. How the times have changed.

Get Nauman Get Victory for NZ .

Don’t underestimate Nauman… He scored 97 in a winning effort in a Test match coming in at #9 when Babar failed.

Nauman’s wicket will be the most crucial wicket in Day 5. Believe me.

Pakistan wasted him as a nightwatchman - should have sent in Abrar.

Yup. There was definitely a lack of foresight.

It was obvious that the “Chacha” would face trouble against pace and swing in the morning. Abrar would have surely been the wiser option.

Interesting situation after that declaration!
