Muslims are required to perform Salah prayers 5 times a day. And they have to be in Wudu state before they can perform Salah prayers. So most muslims perform Wudu ritual 5 times a day (unless they can hold their Wudu state for more that 1 Salah prayer).

In Wudu ritual, you clean your hands, your mouth, your nose, your face, your forearm up to your elbow, your head, your ear and finally your feet.
So can Wudu ritual be a force against germs spread? Food for thought :13:

It is indeed a great way to maintain good hygiene.

Not a bad idea.

Washing regulary is always the best method to get rid of germs.

Use hot water and soap if you need to.

Im not trying to be offensive but a lot of people esp Non-Muslims dont even wash their hands after the toilet, i see it all the time at work.

Yeah it’s grim. I open doors in public places with gloves on or with my coat sleeve, and I carry alcogel.

Soap always though, as water alone won’t dissolve oils.

We don’t take wudu with soap. So no, it’s not effective against most of the infectious microorganisms.

Wudhu is done because it is command of God , not because there are some sceintific reasons behind that.

No. Just pouring water on yourself does nothing against germs.

This is so true. I have seen that so many times myself when people literally walk out of toilets without washing their hands after doing a sh1t. Some really disgusting people out there!

I have seen so many muslims and non muslims do that. I dont think one group is better than the other.

To be honest, doing Wudu at close proximity is a danger in itself!
