There are many rules on what type of food you can bring when flying to Canada.

Is it possible to pack a biryani or curry in your suitcase? And do you have to declare those items?

I have taken Parathas and dry sabzis from Canada to States but never gravies.

I think it causes issues when its liquid probably because I do carry on baggage alone.

Should not be an issue.

But I think Sindhi biriyani is available in Canada too.

what are those?

Aren't vegetable and fruits prohibited to cross the border?

I’ve literally taken all sorts of food including meat. Just don’t declare it lol

May sound like a silly question but why would you want to pack biryani in a suit case and take it to another country

Bruh you gon stink up your suitcase, just buy biryani in mississauga. Don't be cheap.

Yes you can if you seal the container properly in your check in so it doesn't leak and make your clothes smelling like briyani. Otherwise everyone would be like, hey nice briyani cologne. :DD

Jokes aside, don't forget you declare it in your landing form.

Bad idea, if they find out you can get fined upto $300 in the states. Usually cooked food is fine even if you declare it.
