Younis Khan was excellent while he lasted and helped us win the World T20 and Salman Butt had potential, Sarfraz has a long way to go but history suggests he will do well, am liking the inside him; he has the charisma to whip the boys into shape with the danda

I noticed exactly this. Tanvir has the tendency to get smacked in the late overs. And the 2 slips right after a wicket...haven't seen that frequently under Misbah or Azhar.

This. Dont get too excited. Sarfraz Ahmed is a better captain than Azhar but Pakistan would have lost today's game if not for Shadab's heroics.

I think it's both. Sarfraz calmed Shadab down when Samuels was getting to him.
