Apologies to all in advance. I posted the response below in another thread, but I'm posting it here again, as I should have done this initially as a separate thread. I'm no cricket expert by any means but after today's abysmal performance, I've never ever felt so angry and just wanted to share my thoughts and feelings here.

It's time for Captain Calamity to step down if he has any humility at all, but I guess he won't. His batting is poor, his field placings are atrocious. his running between the wickets is schoolboy level and his ability to raise the team's morale is non-existent.

Our tried and tested failures of Ahmed Shehzad and Umar Akmal should not be allowed anywhere near a cricket pitch. Fakhar Zaman needs to start turning up at matches. Give him a couple of more games and then show him the door. Babar Azam should never have been opening the batting in the last two games as I believe it just added unnecessary pressure on him.

Shadab Khan is clearly having a crisis of confidence. He should be given a break for a few games. Our bowlers needs to lose the short and wide bowling mentality. They need to start thinking outside of the box. This brain dead mentality of bowling the same garbage over and over again is costing us matches. If we're getting hit for boundaries, let's bowl around the wicket, let's bowl some slower balls, let's disrupt the batsman's rhythm by pulling up short. We should be trying something different.

Our batsmen have no feet movement and they can barely hit the ball. Are they wearing concrete boots? Their schoolboy slog the ball and hope for the best mentality is costing us games that we should be winning. If we can't rotate the strike, then it's time to find players who can. This is the worst team I have seen in years and we look nowhere near professional level.

It's time to start kicking the dead wood out of the team, easier said than done I know. Fine the batsmen who throw away their wickets or cause run outs. Misbah and co, you need to stop living in the past and you really need to stop with the sifarishi attitude. It's time to give up this third world country mentality of the selfish arrogance and nepotism that we so proudly display. It's time to show some humility.

No one player (past or present) is bigger than the team. It's time to stand up to corrupt attitudes and it's time for these players, managers and the whole cricket board to start pledging allegiance to our flag and all that it stands for. Anyone who is in this for themselves and not for the team, should be kicked out. It's time to start playing for our country and national pride before we become the laughing stock of the cricketing world.

In over 40 years of watching cricket, I have never felt as angry as I have today. I will always support team Pakistan, because even though I was born in Pakistan, I have never lived there, but it is and always will be my home.

Misbah just came 2 weeks ago, the domestic season had not started , now that it has begun he will have a lot of options now

no one needs to spend more than 1 second in tht job to know that umar akmal and ahmad shahzad are dead wood .... tht 2 weeks argument is a joke bcz misbah had to bear them in his whole captaincy tenure... the pea brain should have know how worthless these 2 are..

problem is he is a failure, a crap and he will use these 2 as a reason for team failures

Soon this 2 weeks argument will turn into 2 months argument then 2 years argument but result will be the same. With Misbah at the helm Pakistan cricket can only go down. In one series he reversed all the gains of Mickey era. Heck even in the ODIs which we won we saw how unshapely the team was and struggled to even reach 300 which is par for this era and something which we ourselves were doing regularly.

Shadab mentioned in a recent interview that when things go wrong, Sarfaraz is the first one to panic and is quite jumpy in the dressing room during tense situations.

There aren't traits that you want to see in your captain. His lack of performances in the SL series will only increase the pressure he is under.

Sarfraz is all at sea when Pakistan don’t bat first
He has no strategy when chasing apart from to mount up the target

He has 3 bowlers at 90mph+ and he starts the bowling with imad wasim
Why doesn’t he use zaman as a bowler like Glamorgan did?
He needs to start thinking outside the box

You shouldnt expect something from a captain who says Racist things as if he lacks any social or material education. I don't even know why he got captaincy in the first place. he is not a street fighter , he has a one track mind which fails when the train starts to veer off track in any match. If he was truly someone with semblance of cricket intelligence he would have shown it or learnt it by now instead he looks and sounds out of his depth. Give the captaincy to someone with cricketing sense.

Even inzi with his speech problems had a lot more intelligence which was shown when he was chasing totals and in guiding his team home in crucial situations
Sarfraz seems to be missing some of his players and he isn’t getting the same response from the new selections
