Career as a Professional cricketer

Is 22 too old to start your career as a professional cricketer?I don't have any prior experiences with any club/academy.

I have the basics figured out,I am decently quick and have control over the cricket ball.

Should i give it a go? Please give realistic answers.

Read some of the talent spotters etc on here and they will say which clubs they joined and how it led them to the big stage. Good luck
