"Carry Out Surgical Strike On China": Asaduddin Owaisi's Dare To Centre

Watch: Owaisi tears into Congress, says it’s ‘politically impotent to take on NDA’

Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera criticised AIMIM party chief Asaduddin Owaisi of "partnering with majoritarian right-wing radicalisation" during the Bihar elections.

Responding strongly to the Congress’s criticism on AIMIM (All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen) being anti-secular, which has bagged five seats in the Bihar Assembly elections, Asaduddin Owaisi has said, “If Congress wins, the Gandhi’s and the Prince Charming would get credit for it. If they lose, it’s because of the AIMIM.” The MP from Hyderabad further added that Congress should put an end to this “nonsense” and do some ‘introspection’ and criticised them for not being able to win even 39 seats in the Bihar Lok Sabha election 2019.

Speaking to a media channel, Owaisi also said that Congress and BJP are both the same and are two sides of the same coin. “While one destroys equal opportunities by smiling, the other comes with an aggressive face,” he remarked.

However, when asked if AIMIM would extend support to the Mahagathbandhan (hours before the election results were officially announced), Owaisi said that a final decision will be taken by the party after consultation with its Bihar unit chief, Akhtarul Imaan, and the newly-elected MLAs.

Slamming Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Choudhary for criticising the AIMIM for dividing the votes, Owaisi said his party has every right to contest the election in any part of India.

Meanwhile, Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera had also criticised Owaisi and his party of "partnering with majoritarian right-wing radicalisation". According to the Congress leader, “There is no difference between the majority and minority radicalisation. Owaisi’s counter-radicalisation by contesting in some seats is not the answer to BJP’s communalisation.”

Slamming Pawan, Owaisi said, “I am being accused of being radicalising. It shows the intellectual dishonesty of the Congress spokesperson. I am contesting elections to contest that; it doesn't get radicalised. The Congress, as a party, failed to give voice to that area. Your party contestants said that they will break arms and legs of AIMIM, is this not radicalising? You lose every seat, your MLA’s run away at the waving of a finger, what kind of politics are you practicing?”

He further added that Congress should change its attitude of “holier than thou attitude”.

“Your days have gone, you must wake up. You have contested in 70 seats, you know what the problem is now.”

Owaisi also said that Congress is responsible for BJP coming to power. “Congress and its leadership is politically impotent to take on the NDA government. We will fight elections, whether win or lose, we will contest for those people who don’t have the voice, for the downtrodden. Our main job is to strengthen the democracy of India and we will let people know who have been wrongly told that secularism can be put alive only with Congress, it can be kept alive with other parties also.”

Commenting on losing the Kishengunj seat, Asad said, “There may be various reasons why we couldn't win the trust of the people of that constituency. We will sit down and discuss and reflect on this.”

When asked if he will go with RJD, if necessary, Owaisi said that Seemanchal's development is of primary importance to them.

Contesting in future elections, Owaisi said, “In Uttar Pradesh, AIMIM will fight again in 2024. We will contest from wherever possible. we want to be the voice of the voiceless.

When asked about TRS loss in Dubbaka bye-polls, he said, “Have we lost? Next is West Bengal. Tell Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury (Congress leader and president of West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee) that we're coming. What is the state of Muslims in his area?”

The AIMIM was in the fray for 20 seats in Bihar polls — a majority of which went to polls in the third phase on November 7 — as part of the Grand Democratic Secular Front that has four other parties, including Upendra Kushwaha's Rashtriya Lok Samta Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party.

It was your tweet I damaged 5 seats, what is this language, I assuming that you wont representing UPA

Slipper shot on PIMP Sardesai face..He deserved :14:

:)))

Man.........it's both hilarious and frustrating.

If Congress has any shame, they will focus on strengthening local leaders and ensure democracy in their party.

If even after this, they don't change.....God save India cos BJP is gonna drive it down to the ground for sure lol.

India has survived worse than the BJP. If 50 years of Congress misrule and a few years of third front circuses did not destroy India, nothing else can.

If anything is going to get destroyed it is the Congress. Mamma Mia and her unholy family will drive whatever is left of it to the ground.

Nah.

I used to think like that too.

How bad can BJP be.

But watching them govern India with absolute cluelessness and a sense of extreme arrogance, I do stand by what I said.

What I love about Owaisi is that he exposes the sickulars and the communals alike. The sickulars are the reason india is in a mess and the sooner they are purged, the better for this country.

That's because you were either not born or still in your nappies when the third front circuses (VP Singh , Deve Gowda and other clowns) were ruling India in the 1990s.

If the BJP is the worst you have seen, you ain't seen nothing. :)

For India’s sake he should continue to be leader of Congress.
Haha

His Grandfather Nehru did unrecoverable damage to India, giving away half of Kashmir to Pakistan and getting humiliated in front of China and Ceding 35,000 KMS to China...However he did India one favor, providing a grandchild in nappies called Raul Puppu... PPl here think I hate Puppu, not true, forever grateful this child in nappies is the Congress leader, it will ensure PM Modi is untouchable, in 10 years time Congress as a party will not even exist and we can clear the country of any Italian leadership linkage...

Raul Puppu

Rahul Gandhi is the trump card of BJP, like a 12th Man of the BJP playing XI.

May Bhagwan Ji bless him with a long life.

To compare BJP to the third front jokers....says it all doesn't it?

Absolute cluelessness? really?

BJP and Modi is party of hard working and accountability.. based on nation first theory.. Your hate won't change that fact... Economy wise India may be getting hit but global economy was slowing down in Jan/Feb already and then Virus hit even harder so it was bound to happen... but other than that BJP is doing well..

We saw their handling of economy prior to Covid.

That too with oil lottery unlike prev govt.

Let's not even go towards demo and gst fiasco which hurt a lot of businesses (and yes I talked to some of them too).

And who can forget Modi's begging of World Bank to change the metrics for ease of business calculation (which didn't happen) and then they just tweaked things to make sure rankings improved...which doesn't necessary mean things improved on the ground.

And the less said about Nirmala Sitharaman and her policies....A ton of economists have already talked about how they have been focusing on the supply side when in reality they should be focusing on the demand side.

BJP is a complete and utter joke who gets humiliated on every turn (except for elections).

We saw their handling of China.

Ghanta nation first.

And their handling of Covid was as pathetic as it could be.

You can just hop over to the Covid thread and see it unfolding right from March.

Things were so bad that medical experts went for a joint press conference slamming BJP (where 3 of them were part of Modi's own Covid task force).

I don't know you bud....but feels like you were living under a rock.

Got to know everything I need to know about you. :))

Good luck living in your dream world.

Too bad, India's image is taking a beating under your beloved uneducated leader. lol.

Surely better than the way Nehru handled China and losing 35,000 kms of territory :inti

Yes.

Absolutely.

Surely better than Nehru China fiasco.

Attack the student who got 10 out of 100 in an exam.

Too bad, he keeps failing in all subjects unlike other students.

Now its Kapil Sibal's turn

Kapil Sibal interview: ‘We are yet to hear on recent polls… Maybe Congress leadership thinks it should be business as usual’

The people of the country, not just in Bihar but wherever by-elections were held, obviously don’t consider the Congress to be an effective alternative. :)):))

Siculars and Liebarals only believe

We lost all the by-elections in Gujarat. Even in the Lok Sabha elections we had not won a single seat there. In some of the constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, the Congress candidates in the by-elections notched up less than 2% of the votes cast. Three of our candidates in Gujarat lost their deposits. So the writing is on the wall. A colleague of mine who is a part of the CWC made a statement the other day that ‘I hope the Congress introspects’.

If the Congress leadership knows the answers, why do you think there is a reluctance to address the issues?

There is a reluctance because the CWC is a nominated body. Democratic processes must be adopted and embraced even in the constitution of the CWC, which is reflected in the provisions of the Congress’s constitution itself. You don’t expect nominated members to start questioning and raise their concerns about the reasons for the constant decline of the Congress in elections after elections.

Not being an effective alternative… that is a really bad situation for a party.

It is terrible news. For a long time, we have not been an effective alternative in Bihar anyway. We have not been an alternative in Uttar Pradesh for more than 25 years. These are big states. And even in Gujarat, where we are the alternative in the absence of a third force… we lost all the Lok Sabha seats and in the present by-elections we have not been able to score at all… So obviously the people of Gujarat do not consider us an effective alternative… In Madhya Pradesh, in the 28 by-elections only eight of our candidates won.

So where we were an alternative the people of that state have not reposed their confidence in the Congress in the manner expected by us. So the time for introspection is over. We know the answers. The Congress must be brave and willing to recognise them.

Do you think the Congress leadership is taking it as business as usual? One more defeat…

I don’t know. I am only talking about myself. I have not heard the leadership tell me anything. So I don’t know. I only hear voices which surround the leadership. That is all I know. We are yet to hear from the Congress party their views on our recent performance in Bihar and in the by-elections. Maybe they think all is well and that it should be business as usual.

In Bihar, the AIMIM won five seats. The Muslim vote too seems to be leaving the Congress.

At some stage, that party will become a spoiler. I don’t want to comment on other parties.

:virat1
All these years enjoyed Muslim vote bank when they were in power.
Now they saying Muslim parties are vote cutters and spoiling congress :)))

Hypocrisy..lol
Congress is the biggest communal party and they are portraying others as communal.lol:facepalm:

Yep pretty much sums up my earlier post. Raul Puppu being the PM of India means the end of India, his elder grandfather saw to it that China took 35,000 kms of Indian territory and half of Kashmir to Pakistan. Little Puppu will see to it all of Kashmir and half of India is given to China.

Don't understand why Azad, Kamal Nath, Sachin Pilot and other senior Congress leaders don't rebel and kick out the Gandhi family from the helm of affairs? Are they not concerned about their political careers, which will go nowhere if the Gandhi's remain in the party?

It is true. It is going to happen. Good for faux gandhis and congress, and the country.

Congress has always been a supporter of soft Hindutva. They use Muslims like a votebank for the elections, and then forget about them after the elections.

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday launched a blistering attack at Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat for iterating population control policy and alleging that the population of Christians and Muslims has increased in the country.

In a series of tweets, Owaisi said Mohan Bhagwat's speech was full of "lies and half-truths".

Hitting out at his claims that Muslim population has increased, the AIMIM chief said that the Muslim population growth rate has had the sharpest decline among all.

"There’s no ‘demographic imbalance'. What one has to worry about are the social evils of child marriages and sex-selective abortions. 84% of married kids are Hindus. Between 2001-2011, Muslim female-male ratio leaped from 936 to 951 women for every 1000 Muslim men. But, the Hindu ratio only rose from 931 to 939." he added

Elections for Congress president to be held in September 2022: Sources

Sonia Gandhi has been serving as the interim chief of the party ever since Rahul Gandhi tendered his resignation from the post following Congress' abysmal performance in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

The elections for Congress president are likely to be held in September 2022, said sources on Saturday amid a meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) in New Delhi.

The CWC - the party's highest decision-making body - met to finalise the schedule for a membership drive and grassroots-to-top organisational election that will include choosing a new party chief to replace Sonia Gandhi as interim president.

Sonia Gandhi has been serving as the interim chief of the party ever since Rahul Gandhi tendered his resignation from the post following Congress' abysmal performance in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

During the meet today, Gandhi addressed the issue of organisational elections saying, "The entire organisation wants a revival of the Congress. But this requires unity and keeping the Party's interests paramount. Above all, it requires self-control and discipline. I am acutely conscious of the fact that I have been interim Congress President ever since the CWC asked me to return in this capacity in 2019."

Recalling that CWC has finalised a roadmap for electing a regular President by June 30, Gandhi said, "But the second wave of Covid-19 overtook the country and this deadline was extended indefinitely by the CWC in its meeting held on May 10, 2021."

Gandhi said the schedule for full-fledged organisational elections has been finalised and will bring clarity on the matter "once and for all."

We have full faith in Sonia Gandhi ji and nobody is questioning her leadership, said Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad during the meeting.

Ashok Gehlot proposed in the CWC meet that Rahul Gandhi should lead Congress which was supported by all members of the Congress Working Committee.

In a veiled dig at the party's internal critics, especially G-23, Gandhi said she had always appreciated frankness, and added, "There is no need to speak to me through the media. So let us all have a free and honest discussion. But what should get communicated outside the four walls of this room is the collective decision of the CWC."

On the issue of forthcoming Vidhan Sabha elections, the Congress president said Congress' preparations had already begun a while back.

The special sessions court for MP/MLAs at Nampally metropolitan courts in Hyderabad on Wednesday acquitted AIMIM floor leader in the Telangana Legislative Assembly Akbaruddin Owaisi in two hate speech cases pertaining to Nirmal and Nizamabad districts. It said the prosecution failed to produce proper evidence for the same. It also directed Akbaruddin not to make any controversial speeches in future, keeping in view the national integrity.

Akbaruddin was facing cases for his alleged hate speeches delivered at Nizamabad and Nirmal in Telangana in December 2012.

On Tuesday, the special court had adjourned to Wednesday the judgment in the two cases. It had earlier posted the matter for judgment on Tuesday after completion of arguments by defence and prosecution and deferred the verdict to Wednesday.

Akbaruddin, the younger brother of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, was booked under certain sections of the Indian Penal Code for making "hate" speeches wherein he allegedly used inflammatory and derogatory language against a community during his public speeches.

Earlier, multiple cases were registered against Akbaruddin for alleged hate speeches by him in Nizamabad on December 8, 2012, and at Nirmal town on December 22, 2012.

He was also arrested and subsequently released on bail. The Crime Investigation Department (CID) investigated the Nizamabad case and filed the charge sheet in 2016, while the district police which probed the Nirmal case also submitted the charge sheet in the same year.

A total of 41 witnesses were examined in the Nizamabad case while 33 people were examined in the Nirmal case.

Maybe you can start with yourself.

How does it make you feel. Your leaders will sell their religion and holy figures for a few votes. That's how third-class they are.

Enjoy these confusing contradictions. Plenty more to come until we are finally rid of them.

It's common knowledge that these Owaisis are the B team of the BJP.

Interesting to note that the only posters apart from the OP who've posted here and didn't find this a fair judgement are the ones who aren't particularly fond of the government.

Wondering where the rest are.

In shock?

Or figuring out how to twist this into the fault of everyone else but their toxic leaders :jimmy

Poor judgement obviously. It was a hate speech and deserved punishment.

However it's hilarious to see biggest proponents and fans of hate mongers are playing victim card! Hypocrites.

Lol they are not B team of BJP , they just trashed Muslim MPs of Congress for being weak and useless.

Congress’ attitude: Only we can be good for Muslims lol.

The sickular media and intelligentsia hates him. When dalits want dalit representation, that is fine, but when muslims want muslim representation, the sickulars start crying about communalism and identity politics.

Met Owaisi recently at a wedding in Lucknow. Even for breakfast, he was in his trademark achkan. Didn't get to talk to him as much as I would have liked. In an ideal world, he would be India's PM.

Asaduddin Owaisi lashes out at home minister Amit Shah for 'taught a lesson in 2002' remark

NEW DELHI: Accusing Union home minster Amit Shah of being intoxicated with power, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi slammed the BJP leader over his "BJP taught perpetrators of violence a lesson in 2002" remark.

Addressing a rally in Mahudha town of Kheda district recently, Shah had said: "Earlier, riots used to happen during the days of Congress, but 2002 (during CM Narendra Modi government) was the last year when some anti-social elements tried to incite riots and they were 'taught a lesson' and thrown out of Gujarat."

Gujarat had witnessed large-scale violence in 2002 following train burning incident at Godhra railway station. Around 58 people lost their lives when some coaches of Sabarmati Express were torched at the Godhra Railway Station in Gujarat on February 27, 2002. The incident had triggered large-scale riots in Gujarat.

Shah added that the BJP had established "permanent peace" in the state by taking strict action against those who used to indulge in communal violence

Slamming the comments, the All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief said the only lesson the party imparted was that "Bilkis' rapists will be freed".

Sharing a clip from campaigning for the AIMIM's Vejalpur candidate in Muslim-dominated Juhapura, Owaisi tweeted: "What lesson did Amit Shah teach in 2002? Lessons from Naroda Patiya? Lessons from Gulbarga? Best bakery lesson? Lessons from Bilkis Bano?"

"Remember the seat of power is snatched from all ... ...it will not stay with anyone forever. Drunk with power, India's home minister is saying they taught a lesson ... What lesson did you teach that brought disrepute to the entire country? Amit Shah, what kind of lesson did you teach that caused riots in Delhi?" asked the Hyderabad MP.

He further said that the BJP was trying to create an "anti-Muslim narrative" during the campaign by raising issues such as the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and Mehrauli murder case, referring to the brutal killing of Shraddha Walker. "They are raising such issues to create a communal narrative. The BJP is trying to bring in Uniform Civil Code for Muslims, and for Hindus it will be the Hindu Code. They are trying to divide the people," said Owaisi.
Gujarat will go to the polls in two phases on December 1 and 5 and the counting of votes will take place on December 8.

"Carry Out Surgical Strike On China": Asaduddin Owaisi's Dare To Centre
Asauddin Owaisi also hit out at Union Home Minister Amit Shah over his claim of a covert understanding between him and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao

Sangareddy (Telangana): All-India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has launched a scathing attack on the BJP over its state chief Bandi Sanjay's claim that it will conduct a "surgical strike in Telangana's Old City", saying it should mount a surgical strike on China instead.
Addressing a public meeting in 2020, Bandi Sanjay had said the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and AIMIM Chief Owaisi were trying to win the Hyderabad civic polls with the help of Rohingya, Pakistani and Afghanistani voters.

"GHMC polls should be conducted without voters from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Rohingyas. We will conduct a surgical strike in Old City once we win the polls," Mr Kumar had said while campaigning for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation polls.

Invoking that remark at a public meeting in Sangareddy on Tuesday, the AIMIM chief said, "They say a surgical strike will be done in the old city. Do a surgical strike on China if you have guts."

Mr Owaisi also hit out at Union Home Minister Amit Shah over his claim of a covert understanding between the AIMIM chief and Telangana Chief Minister and BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao, saying, "Why do you (Amit Shah) feel the pain, if the steering is in my hand?"

He said, "Crores of rupees were approved for temples and he (Amit Shah) says the steering is in my hand. If the steering is in my hand, then why do you feel the pain?"

Earlier, on April 23, addressing the BJP 'Sankalp Sabha' at Chevella in Karnataka, Mr Shah alleged connivance between AIMIM chief Asadusddin Owaisi and KCR.

He said, "A government, whose steering wheel is with Majlis (Owaisi), can never run Telangana. We are not afraid of the Majlis, Majlis is a compulsion for you (BRS), not for BJP. The government of Telangana should work for the people of the state, not for Owaisi."
