Case of Rahat Ali playing against Scotland instead of Shaheen Shah Afridi/Usman Khan Shinwari

This is something that I would extremely hate to see. But it is reality and bound to happen since after all we are Pakistan. What is your guys take on this?

Shaheen Afridi and Usman Shinwari definitely are better suited to T20 cricket much better than Rahat. Rahat on the other hand isn't good enough to represent Pakistan

Given that Rahat was promptly dropped from the Test team after that awful performance in Dublin, and that he hasn't played a ODI in 2 years and never a T20, your criticism / implication seems unfair on Mickey and Sarfraz

IF you're looking to blame someone for Rahat, blame Inzamam for keeping him with the T20 team

Let’s be honest. Hasan Ali gets wickets (but only sometimes). He is like Wahab Riaz sometimes and goes for a lot of runs. Hasan is not consistent enough, and him riding on his purple patch does not make him the best bowler in the world. Even if he was the best bowler in the world, wouldn’t you rest him for 2 T20s against the Scotland team?

Sorry if you misunderstood. Hasan Ali has some flaws here or there, but he’s an above average bowler sometimes. Hasan Ali does not have the natural flare and fierceness like Amir, Wasim, Shoaib, Shinwari, Shaheen who can take 2-3 Wickets in the same over all clean bowled. Ali is a bowler who takes a few wickets most of the matches he plays, but not always can be relied on. He can go for runs or be wicketless. His control is sometimes off, but don’t get me wrong. I hope to see a spell from him that reads 5-8 (3.2 overs), then I will consider him a tier A bowler.
