Big signing for Chelsea! He will fit in perfectly with the likes of Hazard feeding him.

He's pretty much the exact same type of player as Costa iirc.

Morata is not a costa type player.Costa is an aggressive tough, and rough player who uses his physical strength to get past defenders. The one thing common with both of them is they can shift the momentum of the game due to their pace and striking ability

But as compared to costa morata is a proven big match player who scores when it matters, and if given the chance to be a starter, he'll most likely start knocking them in consistently.Morata is a perfect poacher and he has a killer instincts to take half chances. His height, pace and aerial ability makes him dangerous in the box. Moreover he's just 24 so their is a lot left in him and so if treat well he has all the ability to be a top striker

Quite a coup i'd suggest in this market <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/cfc?src=hash">#cfc</a> <a href="https://t.co/YOWwgsi4rV">https://t.co/YOWwgsi4rV</a></p>— Matt Law (@Matt_Law_DT) <a href="https://twitter.com/Matt_Law_DT/status/887748442524721154">July 19, 2017</a></blockquote>

So... Walker + 8m?

Fantastic signing for us, I hope he can build a partnership with both Fabregas and Hazard like Costa did.

So Man Utd had to pay £75m or there abouts but Chelsea pay £58m?

Ok.

This kid is a proper striker.
Intelligent, quick and a deadly finisher.
Would take him over lukaku all day though hoping mou will use lukaku better

Ok.

RM are desperate for Degea and we wont sell therefore they were always going to inflate the price, im happy we never payed up for him, Morata is over rated, anything more than £40m for a bench warmer is a joke.

Morata is potentially a brilliant striker. In the right system he could thrive. Chelsea have the players to give him the service to score the goals. At £70 million he is overpriced but in this market you will have to overpay.

Morata has the movement and hold up play to bring Chelsea's creative players into the game. He's a different player from Costa but shares some similarities with him.

Best of luck....
but just dont score against madrid incase the teams meet in CL

Alvaro Morata: Chelsea complete £60m deal for Real Madrid striker

Chelsea have completed the £60m signing of Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata on a five-year-deal.

The Spain forward scored 20 goals last season after rejoining Real from Juventus.

The 24-year-old won La Liga and the Champions League, but the majority of his appearances were as a substitute.

Morata is the Blues' fourth summer recruit, after goalkeeper Willy Caballero, defender Antonio Rudiger and midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.

Morata will now join up with the squad on its pre-season tour of Asia.

Chelsea technical director Michael Emenalo said: "We believe he can make a great impact for Chelsea and look forward to seeing him in action.

"Alvaro has proven class at the highest level and his quality will be a huge asset."

Need another striker, two wing-backs and and a midfielder. The fact that we've been linked to Danilo, Sandro, Mendy, Llorente and Benteke helps, but there is no news of us going in for another midfielder which is worrying.

Crazy money. After losing out on Lakaku this seems to be a reactionary signing.

Why isn't starting Batshuayi an option? He has a lot of potential.

Another striker will be signed. Not sure on which fullbacks Chelsea will look to sign other than Sandro. Also what type of midfielder do Chelsea need? One to replace Fabregas?

More of an attacking midfielder is needed as Bakayoko (defensive midfielder) has already been attained.

More of an all-round midfielder with offensive qualities but is also good defensively. Tolisso and Keita would have been perfect but we're not in for those players unfortunately. The Ox could be an option as backup because he can play in 3 different positions but I'm not sure how much we'd have to pay as he plays for a direct rival. Mendy and Danilo are basically City players now so we have to force a move for Sandro or Bertrand (I'd put in a 65m bid for Sandro) and on the right we can play Rudiger as a defensive option if need be but another option like Ricardo Perera from Porto would be much preferred. Dalbert from Nice is an option to give competition to Alonso.

Because a 3-5-2 limits us badly as it means we can only play one of Hazard, Willian and Pedro as we must use wingbacks to be defensively solid. I doubt we would play Hazard/Willian false 9 with Michy in a 3-5-2 with Willian/Hazard behind unless Morata was injured.

Pjanic could be a good signing but I don't know who realistic he is. Ox won't be sold I think. That's a lot of money for Sandro , would Chelsea really want to pay that much?
