Pakistan Shaheens are back in action against the Chicago Kingsmen. Shaheens will be looking to make early inroads and set up a controlled pursuit later in the day.

Their recent form has been a mixed bag — they opened the tournament in style with a 79-run demolition of Bangladesh A, piling up 227/4 before skittling the opposition for 148. But in their next outing, they were edged out in a tense low-scorer, falling to the Perth Scorchers Academy by just 2 wickets in the final over.

Saad Masood for some reason is bowling in the PP and bowling front foot no ball as a spinner.

Typical Pakistani bowling in the PP. Little to no control with wides and no balls.

Why are the Chicago kinsmen looking more like the Pakistani USA runaway 11?

Much better 2nd over from Masood and showed consistently in his line/length and got rewarded with a wicket.

Considering the team is called Chicago, I would expect it's a US based team. Seems like Sharjeel is now playing for US as well as he is on this team and Saad Masood got him out. A lot of other former Pakistanis.

Might as well had a domestic T20 tournament with U25 or something instead. This tour feels like a waste of money playing basically domestic players who are has-beens. The pitch is not an Aussie pitch either. Feels like a sub-continent pitch with how slow and two paced it is.

A proper A tour with the Australian team where you play some FC and white ball would have been worth it but feels like little for players to gain developmental wise with this. You don't get exposure to proper Australian pitches and the level of cricket is low.

Saad expensive today..

Bowling multiple no balls as a spinner... absolutely ridiculous stuff.

His batting seems to be ahead of his bowling and I think he needs to really work hard on his bowling if he wants to be a proper all rounder.

I dont even care about this match 🤣🤣.grooming youngsters my foot, grooming them how?

By pitting them against the usa runaway Pakistan 11 🤣

Huge 207 run target in front of Shaheens to chase... Wasim giving 57 runs in his 4 overs..

Nafay proving to be another over-hyped guy... Failed again... his list of zeros and single digit scores is increasing day by day

USA will surpass Pakistan in T20I soon due to:

1. Better domestic T20 competition
2. Richest country in the world which can invest in own local players plus attract good players from other countries

The biggest loss for Pakistan was probably Hassan Khan... He has been prolific since he left Pakistan...

No one in this team has really impressed, besides Abdul Samad to a certain extent. We are so far behind the top teams, it's sad.

We are not going to find 11 new players we need to identify a talent and invest in it for future can't bury your head in the sand and give up with quotes like there is no talent there is always talent we just can't recognise it the corrupt people we have running academy and boards are responsible for state of pakistan

These players are allowed to fail because their intentions are clear.
They play modern day cricket. Full of intent, selflessness, flexibility etc.
As long as we have such players winning or losing doesn't matter

As long as we have guys like you following our cricket,

We will never progress anyways.

Its sad to see Wasim Jr spanked about when he is an actual international player.

Players who are in national contention shouldn't figure in these tournaments. Its a lose lose for them.

So all Pakistan cricket teams are having a lean patch? :/

Pak cricket is almost dead.

Until we have a proper consistent structure in place and incentivisation 4 day cricket for our cricketers we are going to go down even further and there'll be no revival.
Ban all T20 cricket except the PSL.

But for that to happen we need to have administrators who are honest and knowledgeable and fans who are not so moronic and ignorant. Kind of impossible.
