Child care frauds in the US and Australia

This is getting bugger traction as more and more frauds in the name if Child care especially by Somali immigrants in the US and Sudan immigrants in Australia are coming out.

Mostly people of African-Muslim descent scamming the system that gave them benefits.

The scale of these frauds are running in billions. These will put incoming immigrants at risk. Particularly the Somali community in the US. This is unfolding at a huge level. So, deserves a thread and a formal discussion.

Trump Administration is the most corrupt America has ever seen. I am not sure if they have the moral authority. If people have committed crimes, jail them and use the full force of the law.
Maybe they should also look at the Indians targeting American Seniors costing by some estimates billions

Those call center frauds must be punished. No doubt.
But looks like Somalis are the worst type of community in every country.

Be it Europe, US or any country they immigrate to. You may have support them for being Muslims, but they are getting a lot of attention these days.
 
Somalis are definitely under a microscope now in US, and it was long OVERDUE!

I have had good Somalis friends, and yes there are good and bad everywhere, who informed me about some of their acquaintances being in care providing businesses printing dollars; that was more than a decade ago. Back then, I used to wonder how it was possible in USA to scam the government so easily. Now I know!

That was in TEXAS, not Minnesota - the hub!

Surely those call centres can be closed. So why arent they? And if the Somalis commit crimes, deal with that.
 
When it comes to child care fraud, Somalians will take the cake. They have swindled more than $10 billion and there is a video in YouTube where an investigative journalist exposed these frauds.

I mean the fraud is so obvious and heads should roll. It’s Minnesota the land of Ilhan Omar. What can we expect :mv

Ohh, just saw that the video is already posted. Somalis have taken billions of tax payer dollars. Their men don’t work and women printed to be child care workers but no children found.

I don’t know what it takes to arrest those frauds. Who knows for how long these scams have been going on. The worst part is, if questioned, those Somalis are quick to use the Islamophobia and racist card. :mv

I am sure the Americans can deal with deal with the losses but why aren't you guys talking about scamming the American pensioners by Indians. It always amazes me that the Indians always become the Chachas of the Americans, Australians, UK (White) etc but forget they themselves attack their most vulnerable with their scams.
 
I have been following this closely as it’s a huge story and blowing up right now. There is no doubt that a massive amount of fraud has taken place and committed by people from the Somali community which is not a good reflection for them or for other people from African countries in the US. However, opportunists have blown up this story to greater heights, especially those from MAGA, including grifters like Patrick Bet David. This fraud was known and people have been and are being convicted of fraud, but the vile racist comments such as calling Somalians sub-50 IQ level pirates, etc. is disgusting as well as tarnishing the whole community. Also, turns out not all daycare centres were committing fraud as shown in the Nick Shirley video. He showed up at times where the daycares were not operating and his source is questionable (some random guy named David). You also can’t just turn up and demand to see kids and he has straight up accused them all of fraud. I hope him and his copycats now get sued for defamation and libel. I’m assuming an idiot like him does not have limited liability or insurance and therefore might be paying out of pocket for multiple lawsuits.

Honestly, $100/hr is standard. Why are they shocked? Bear in mind, you can charge whatever you want for your skill. It’s up to customer if they want to pay.

I had my smoke alarm fixed and I got charged $150 for 15 min work.
Your brain cannot think beyond Bollywood or whatever script you get on computer.

$100 per hour is fine if someone is paid for an hour's worth of work. Here, several transport mobiles have been running for 8 hours a day all year and for several decades. It adds up pretty fast.

You calling someone dumb and you clearly do not know how much fraud was committed. Overall, it ran into hundreds of millions of dollars. Blatant fraud committed and that is what was exposed. You seem to brush this away like it is a few hours of work for $100 an hour. Put the green glasses down. Those Somalis running those daycare centers and the beneficiaries of the scam are A-Grade frauds and deserve to be deported. :mv

I agree deport all fraudsters regardless of age, gender, religion. That should be criteria. Not because someone is an immigrant or of certain color or race.
