Personally, I'm against all forms of reservation, it only leads to more inequalities in society. If anything, give disadvantaged strata of society (irrespective of his/her caste/religion/economic background/gender) incentives right from the school days so that by the time they pass higher secondary, they're probably at par with rest of the society. From there on, merit should be the only criteria to let people take up higher studies.

Reservation in professional services like engineering, medical etc should be a strict no no.
