Some of the policies in tomorrows manifesto seem to be leaking out tonight

As you might expect from a Party which has been in power for 7 years and increased National Debt from £900bn to £1800bn they are out of ideas

Hmmm. Broadly speaking, it is more of the same. I like the slightly increased MoD budget as I read a report that our ships are going to run out of SSM missiles and there are no more!

The change to a National Care Service is a good idea.

People put into long-term care will be able to keep the last £100K of their assets, which is a good idea. Care for the elderly is the big issue from now on.....

Social care definitely needs reform but according to Andrew Dilnot, who was asked to commission a report on social care by the Coalition, says the Tory social care proposals announced today will leave many elderly folk helpless.

The BBC's Nick Triggle has done an excellent job explaining the policy and it appears to be a complete eyewash !

Scrapping free school meals for infants by May is not too different when Thatcher scrapped free milk for schoolchildren.

This party loves to attack the most vunerable in society.

Actually that was Labour legislation passed during the Wilson government. When Heath became PM the legislation was enacted. Thatcher was his Education Secretary and got the blame.

That was back in the day when there were still One Nation Tories who cared about poor people.

she seems to be losing it
