I would like to buy a new cricket bat grips for my SS viv richards. Has anyone used GM shock absorbing grips. How comfortable are they ? I used kooks feather grips it was really good. Any suggestions any other brands ?

I dont know abt various bat grips.
But my question should I put 2nd extra grip on my CA 12000 plus TRD

I have used the GM Shock Absorba grips and I love them, I dont know if they actually dampen the shock but are very comfortable in hand and quite grippy

The choice of grip and the number of grips to be put on a bat comes down to personal comfort. GM shock absorba is good. I particularly like the SS snake grips too--- the one they have on their Matrix for example. It is quite nice and not that thin as well.

@qaiser: the handle of your particular bat is not that thick. When I had a CA, I used two grips on it. I knew a terrific batter in my league who used just one grip. So it ultimately comes down to personal choice. Ask yourself what YOU are more comfortable with; eg. if you are a very wristy batsman you might want to go with a thinner grip style :)

thank you for the feedback. I am a wristy batsman but at the same time like hitting straight or mid wicket sixes. The second grip I have is already tearing up. Must be low quality.
I will try to post the pic of the bat.
