Bismillah khan in his post match interview said. cricket is easy, it is the pressure at this level. You handle the pressure well, you'll be successful.they gave me a chance and I'm happy for that, the staff gave me a lot of confidence"

Many more to come!:bhatti

Can't believe the amount of hate he was getting WHILE he was clobbering everyone out of the park.

People go gaga over hacks like Sharjeel and Shehzad but can't see a young unknown batsman do well, because it'll mean their favourites won't get selected.

like a BOSS. Can't wait for this guy in the International side schooling indian trundlers

Bismillah looks great, but I want to see more. Lahore attack + flat pitch in the UAE is one of the easiest things to feast on.

he had a REALLY mediocre domestic run. One smash does not potential make

I realize that "one swallow does not make a summer" BUT he has to start somewhere, and he did it in his very first match in the PSL. Instead of hating on him he should be encouraged to continue in this manner and if the performances keep on coming he should be given a look in.

In short, larkay ko mauqa tou do kam se kam..

well he is a cheat he does nick adil in his 2nd over

And he is the very first batsman in the world to do so??? It would be hard to find a "single" batsman, who hasn't done it :)

No harm trying him as opener in loi side not as if we have world class batsman already

Excellent vs. spin, mediocre vs. pace.

Already better than Ahmed Shehzada though.

Already better than Ahmed Shehzada though.

If he plays vs Zalmi on Friday, than he is gonna get a thorough examination against good pace battery comprising Tait, Junaid and Wahab !!!

Even he would be facing a stern spin Test against likes of Afridi & Asghar...

"Management gave me confidence"-- the single most overused one liner used by Pakistani batsmen in post match interviews.

Confidence is the name of the parchee or something?

J/k, he played well today.

He is right, you guys should take alook at the level of cricket of club cricket in Pakistan

International cricket is very easy. You get good pitches, good balls, its very easy to score runs.

In club cricket, you have to earn every 1 run, due to the poor quality of pitches, where the ball spins toooo much, and bad quality balls seaming and swinging.

Kami bhai, confidence does make a world of difference. Look at Indian batsmen oozing with confidence, and the end result is for everyone to see

A batsman can never come out of his shell if not given a confidence boost

But I see where you're coming from, with so much you watch Akmals you probably think every batsman is overconfident and thinks he's a "legend" (cricinfo interview)

If we can have Raffatullah Mohmands, and Ifitkhar ahmads then why not him.

Again, a post based on ground reality.

Should replace shehzad as opener.

Or have him as WK/Opener and get rid of Sirfraz , get UA at no 3 and find a specilist middle order finisher/ part time bowler

This is true, but you need to be good enough for international cricket (mentally) in the first place, and also be able to hold your own against some truly world class opponents that you will not find at club level.

So pakistani domestic cricket is tougher then playing against steyn, ashwin, morkel etc. Kohli, AB, Amla., root etc should go cry in a corner as they score in "very easy' league
Hmm i have heard everything now.

Btw how many international matches this lad had played?

happy for him.will encourage other youngsters from our most neglected province.i remember 2/3 years ago he was in the radar, was even given a category D contract but then it was cancelled as he had a fight(proper fight)in the match and was banned for 6 or 12 months(do not remember exactly the length of ban)
hopefully he has overcome that discipline issues.it is good to have more opening options, never a bad idea

Well, everything done by professionals looks easy.

That's equivalent of Jack Nicklaus saying "Golf is easy"

Roger Federer saying "Tennis is Easy"

Lionel Messi saying "Football is easy"

Kobe Bryant saying "Basketball is Easy"

Peyton Manning saying "NFL is easy"

Doesn't mean much until you go out in the international level, and put your performances where your tongue belongs.

Only Quetta based player in Quetta team, well performed dude. Wish you good luck for the future, hope he performs well in next games too.

You should go play some pakistani club cricket before talking. International cricket is all about handling pressure.

Hmm... no wonder such a great batsman has come from pakistan in current generation.

First of all Bismillah Khan didnt talked about international cricket but PSL he said "This cricket is easy you just need to handle the pressure" so I dont see where he mentioned international cricket just our Major get jazbati every now and then.

I also dont think that our club cricket is anything in comparison to any high quality cricket domestic/international yes it gets tough with poor wickets, poor balls, bad ground, no proper fitness or motivation, but on the flip side pressure is also nothing in comparison.

I think club cricket is difficult for average players anyone above average excel massively fast at club level and you can see clear difference between players at that level..average players like most of us find it difficult and feel pressure due to this clear difference in quality or natural talent.

If he ever represents Pakistan on the national level, it will be a new low in our cricketing history

So taken out of context. The guy was talking about PSL, not international cricket.

For him, psl is "cricket" and so in a way, he is actually right.

Psl is easy, a micky mouse tournament.

International cricket isn't for boys but belongs to men.

what is your opinion on his batting

Needs alot of improvement. Very inconsistent. He started with a bang in domestic but lost his way and didn't delivered as per the expectations. Became a touch arrogant. I guess he will learn alot from PSL.

People also need to understand that Urdu is probably this guys second or third language and sometimes mishaps happen when you are not speaking your mother tongue.

He mentioned it already in his post match interview that at this level you only need to handle pressure. So he knows about it.

it was a brain freeze moment from the rookie. Forgive him

Playing in Baluchistan is tough , where ground as well as security is big issue. If you get some fitness issue , your career will be ended by expert doctor of Baluchistan

Cricket is easy when it is your day....when you are a nobody....nobody knows about you.... real cricket starts when opponent team started figuring your weakness....make strategies against you..... if you belong to the league of genius cricketers you will able to adjust to it and will be a BIG SOMEBODY...who will demand lot of respect from cricketers and cricket lovers all over the world

Well summed up. Actually very well summed up, We all have seen how teams Figured out Nasir Jamshed in past and he clearly was not able to work over flaws in his batting and was not even mentally good enough to apprach the challenge in order to get over his weakness. The clear challenge is when the other side knows your positives and flaws but still you overpower.

Wasn't this guy hyped up at one point?

I've had a look at his stats, seem to be appalling.

Agreed if Misbah can get a FC average of 50 then yes it is easy, spot on mate!!!

Not that easy as he thought when you are up against best bowlers then it is very difficult for batsman to face the bowlers.

Not as easy today I guess

Batting is much more easier in cricket now a days. Way more easier. Like some one said, the main difference between the International and FC is your mental strength. If you are mentally strong, your body will adapt to faster, more swinging, more spinning, more drifting and more dipping.

The millionth hack produced by Pakistan, PP Hype Machine malfunctioning as usual.

he was not out im angry , not watching this bakwass final now bye

Ah this is a classic. "Cricket is easy, hence why in my last 6 innings I have 5 ducks". :asif

Haha, weren't you bragging about how good he is and somehow only 'sarfraz fans' are targeting him? :))) :)))

He's just too weak against pace, Malik standard.

Didn't say he is good, I said watch how Sarfraz fans will attack him now just like they attack other WKs. He got a lot of boundary balls in that innings, strike rotation was poor.

Sarfraz is the best available option even in Limited Overs until Rizwan could actually out perform him.

That doesn't mean he is any good though. Poor Limited Overs cricketer and I hope he regains his form soon.

I do agree, Sarfraz has been poor in Limited Overs but barely anyone is as good as him in our ranks atm. Bismillah Khan was always poor, Never rated him. Im surprised barely anyone mentions Umar Siddiq as potential WK Batting Prospect, Seemed like a decent guy.

Its easy, to get out that is.

Its easy for Smith right now for sure

Bismillah Khan 50 for Balochistan in a match saving effort

This post is right up there with the other one you made when you claimed scoring 300 off 800 is better than scoring 400 off 500 in red ball cricket :))
