Cricket Themed Restaurants - Lala Darbar

Im in Dubai on holiday so thought Id check out Afridis new restaurant.

Its the 2nd cricket themed restaurant Ive visited after Sixes Cricket in Birmingham, which has a great vibe inc cricket net bowling machine to work off your food.

Lala Darbar opened recently , a couple of weeks ago in Dubai's International City.

The interior looks great, nice comfortable seating and pretty clean inc the toilet.

I ordered what is called a 'Bouncer mixed Grill' and a Nihari. The grill was tasty 8/10, didnt rate the Nihari , 6/10.


Interesting the the staff have to wear cricket outfits. The waiter I was served by was from India, I gave a decent tip, nice enough fellow esp as he preferred the PSL to IPL

Yes bro I’m unvaccinated . Did a pcr test , no questions departing , quick check of the document & no questions on arrival . Went shopping Dubai mall , wore no mask like many others .

Worth checking out the restaurant if you do go

If you come to UK check out Sixes cricket restaurant, bowling machine is pretty cool

Afridi and other cricketers have had restaurants before. They eventually close down because its someone else who runs the show and these cricketers just invest. The quality goes down eventually.

Afridi fans should enjoy this while it last.
