It's sad that this guy doesn't get much appreciation, he's probably the first wrestler turned full blown Hollywood actor who had a very seeming-less transition into the movie arena.

Guardians of the Galaxy, Blade Runner, and now Hotel Artemis. It's weird because in the WWE he wasn't THAT great at selling the product even though he was one of my favorite wrestlers back when, but out here in Hollywood this guy definitely has the acting chops.

Rock is a very overrated actor who just does some macho stuff and boom there you have it, a people's movie. But Batista seems like he has seriously studied and worked on the nuances of acting.

I don't know maybe it's just me, but he has my respect because once he quit the WWE I thought he may not do so hot from then on, but he is achieving more now than when he did as a wrestler. Starring alongside legends like Jodie Foster, getting roles in record breaking films like Infinity War, good stuff.

When they let some of the shackles off him during his heel run in 2010, we saw the charisma that made him popular in the first place. Otherwise, he became stagnate like ol' Jon Moxley from 06'-10'.

That "kissing babies and hugging fat girls" line is one of the most quotable lines in wrestling of the last decade.

Only know him from GOTG, great comedic timing. He may have had some small roles here and there. Just checked his IMDB page and he seems to be starring in the next ip man movie along with Tiny Jaa.

Edit - That's actually another ip man (too many to keep track of now) and Scott Adkins from Boyka (Undisputed) fame will be in Ip man 4. Exciting times ahead.
