All right, this is about our neighbor who has always had every good relations with us. His name was Gautam Bordoloi. Not just us, him an his family maintained very good relations with our entire neighborhood.

Let me explain in details. Yesterday evening, my Mum told me that he has suffered a stroke. He was about to visit a shop in the evening to buy things he needed in order to build his 2nd floor of his house. He used to fool around with his family members, particularly his wife, that he suffered a stroke or a heart attack. He simply kept fooling around with his wife. Last night, him and his wife were scheduled to visit the shop, and prior to that he suffered a severe 'Brain Stroke', something which his wife initially thought was a prank.

Mt mother than told me later in the night that he has indeed suffered a serious 'Brian Stroke' and that he was in a critical condition.

Today morning, I was about to travel to my friends place to enjoy some time, and immediately when I traveled out of my house, I saw an ambulance travelling in our lane. I immediately knew something was wrong, and came back to our house.

After I reached my home, me, my Mum and my Father traveled to their place. He died last night. I went for the cremation along with my Father. Nothing much we could do.

It's such a shame. He was someone who lightened up our entire neighborhood, cracking jokes and entertaining everyone He has two daughters, and both of them were devastated beyond belief today

It's unfortunate, really unfortunate. Hope they find peace and relief during such a difficult time.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.

Truly death escapes no one and might even occur, when you least thought it would.

RIP

moral of the story: never cry wolf + get an annual health check up, take your blood pressure pills and an aspirin, oh and learn about CPR cause it could saves somebody's life.

Sorry to hear

I try not to think of death a lot, just think of the present only and make every moment count

CPR very RARELY saves lives, and the lives it saves are never the same again.

Found it odd that you saw the need to identify the person by name.

Hare Krishna. May his family find the strength and support in these tough times.

Ahh man. RIP. I don't think you should mention his first and last name though.

Another extremely tragic incident happened yesterday evening. I was such great friends with this one man from whom we bought our first puppy from back in 2007. We named our dog Charlie. Unfortunately, Charlie passed away in 2016.

Anyways, I became great friends with the man. I loved chatting with him. He was a Muslim person. I mean you meet some people in life who can light up an entire environment with his conversation. He used to speak so well, and was so very pleasing and interesting to speak to. He lived barely 10 minutes by car from my place. I was thinking about getting an aquarium from him merely a couple of years ago, and we both had serious discussions over it.

Last night at around 1.30 AM in the morning, I suddenly read someone posting on his FB wall that he passed away yesterday evening after being electrocuted. I had my mouth wide open and couldn't take it. I immediately called my Mum from another room to tell her what happened. I couldn't even sleep till late morning.

Today morning I called up one of his friends, a vet. He visited his place today morning and told me exactly what happened. He tried switching his water motor pump on and was electrocuted. It was so bad, his whole body was burnt and he died immediately.

He was just 49 years old, although much, much older than me. I'll miss him. He was one of the nicest and most interesting people to talk to. And he wore his religion on his sleeve. He was a proud practicing Muslim. Which makes me glad because I too am a proud practicing Christian. He was buried today at around 3 PM.

I have been in a foul mood ever since I got the news. It's now that I'm trying to relax myself watching the ongoing Test match.

RIP, Mridul Da! The world won't be the same without you. You will be terribly missed.

As it happens I knew this cocky Pakistani lady who was so proud of her children being well educated. Would always indirectly make hurtful comments towards the parents of children who in her eyes did lesser jobs. Her passing away a few months has been on my mind recently. All that pride, careers and arrogance eventually will turn to dust.
